Best bartender and waitstaff you can find. Susan was like an angel sent from heaven to intervene on my crazy neurotic planning. She kept me calm, rolled with the punches, and always kept our priorities in mind (having an incredible time with our friends and family while celebrating our marriage). She organized wait staff, tended bar, and served as the point of contact for all things food/beverage related. She's awesome and well worth the investment. If you're hosting a do it yourself wedding and are in need of someone who can serve the food and beverages you purchase, she is your woman! Jayme was our DJ and he was incredible. He coordinated the entire reception from toasts to cake cutting and special dances. He was also incredible customer oriented making sure the bride and groom always had a full glass (wine or water), and were able to eat as well as visit with guests. His efforts were seamless and non-intrusive.
Natalie was an incredible photographer and she priced so reasonably. We loved all of our photos -- she has such an artistic eye for angles. Bonus: She loves animals and was more than thrilled to capture our dog, Stoli, in all the shots for the rehearsal and wedding. LOVE HER!
As a company who is knew to tuxedo rental, we thought we would not only experience the high quality of Joseph A. Banks customer service but also tuxedos that had not been over rented and thread bare. Well, the material was great, but the options were terrible and the communication was even worse! Three days before the wedding we checked the suits at pick up -- wrong pants for everyone and wrong shirt for the groom. After pushing through a rush reorder, we still had capri pants for the father of the groom on the morning of the wedding. Lesson learned: go with a more experienced tuxedo place. JosABanks needs to do some more work if they're serious about offering this service.
Incredible customer service -- set up was superb, on time and more gorgeous than expected. I've never been to a wedding where it was so quiet during dessert; everyone was eating cheesecake! Variety is also incredible.
Incredible food! This was our favorite part of our wedding. The staff was so caring and made great recommendations based on the venue and kitchen capabilities for storing food and keeping it warm. The only downside (and the reasone for 4 instead of 5 stars) is that El Azteco doesn't provide catering staff. They deliver the food and it's up to you to make sure everything happens from there. We hired bar and service staff ad hoc, who were incredible about making sure everything happened smoothly.
Awesome invitations, straight from the designer at an incredible cost. You can even order matching stamps, save the dates, etc.
Great company, super friendly and provided realistic estimates for all of our catering, linen, and other rental needs. My only complaint (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5), is that they forgot an essential piece of my order: the chafing dishes. We didn't realize it until after 6pm the night before the wedding and were unable to get a hold of anyone at A Complete Rental to fix the issue. We ended up going to Gordon's Food Service and buying dispable chafing dishes (not as nice) to make due. No one else noticed the little things like that during the wedding, but I knew and at some point you just have to let it go. The Monday after our wedding we received a refund for the missing pieces, and at that point the wedding had gone so well we weren't upset.
