This man can play the saxophone. He can play anything you want and he does it very well. He serenaded my grandfather and my dad and I while we danced. His act was very good and we all thought we were listening to Kenny G's instrumental on a CD, until he appeared on the dance floor playing his sax for us. Some of our guests who don't usually listen to jazz and does not know how Kenny G looks, actually thought he was Kenny G. He performed at the wedding and ceremony at a very very very reasonable price. I was both blessed and lucky to have him.
This was the first cruise we had been on. There are a lot of things that are left out about the cruise and you don't find out until you get on the boat, so read as much as you can. The tip that seems to be required is actually not required. At least I got mine refunded. I feel $10 a day per person is a little overboard. We were unhappy due to the children. We all know that people cannot handle their children so this is probably why they bring them on the boat and let them run wild because they don't want to deal with them. Carnival is a FAMILY vacation place, so if you do not want to deal with kids that talk back to their parents, and who run up and down the halls all times of the night, and who dominate all of the pools all day, don't go on Carnival. I would suggest you go on an age specific cruise line.
I would suggest that you check and make sure that everything is corret a week before the wedding when it comes to the tuxedo colors and every other detail. When my junior groom went to pick up his tuxedo they told his mom that someone had called in and changed to color to black on July 4th. Thats a holiday in which they are closed on that day. Also they are not supposed to take changes by phone the bride or groom has to go into the store and make the changes themselves. To make matters worse his mom had to travel 50 miles to another store to get the right color tux and we are still waiting for the refund check.
I was pleased with the way the hall looked but very unhappy with them not keeping their end of the contract. I had special guests who were supposed to sit at reserved tables and there a lot of extra people who showed up. The original setup was for the head table and the special guests to be sat at 5 reserved tables. Well they did not reserve the five tables and my special guests ended up taking over half of the seats at the head table. So some of my wedding party had no where to sit. I was furious and I am still waiting for the manager to get back with me on that issue, he is avoiding my calls. I was also told by my guests that some of the servers and staff were rude. I would not recommend this place because I feel that should not have been something that went wrong out of all things, especially considering the money we spent for their service. I aslo feel that the manager should have at least contacted me even if the reception is over.
