Susan is fabulous, energetic, and wonderfully talented. I would highly recommend her for your wedding, travel, and lifestyle photography needs.
I would give zero stars if it were an option. I was extremely disappointed in Black Orchid Florist. In the planning stages, Black Orchid was difficult to get a hold of and brought little to the table. On our wedding day, they were outside the hotel 30 minutes prior to the ceremony snipping flowers off a bush next door to use in our ceremony. This of course meant we got the wrong flowers, the the flowers at the reception were an even larger mess. Some had clearly started to wilt days prior to the reception, wrong colors were used, the wrong table runners (wrong colors and material all together) were used, and after spending $300 to print menus that coordinated with our wedding stationary - Black Orchid didn't bother to take them out and set them at each place settig. Last minute, our reception venue printed versions off an inkjet. Money wasted, terrible experience, and after talking to other Anguilla brides - I found out I was not the only one to go through this with Black Orchid. Their floral services were a dent in the perfect wedding for us. Don't let it happen to you. There are other florists on the island - Purple Rose came recommended as well.
Perfect, perfect, perfect. Lisa Gumbs, the owner of KoalKeel, was absolutely amazing and helpful. We were blown away by how everyone there was willing to do whatever they could to make the day as perfect as possible. The atmosphere at this 200 yr. old sugar plantation is so wonderfully charming. KoalKeel will be a place we will always hold in our hearts and will visit many times throughout our lives together. The food is to die for.
I would say that I wasn't thrilled with the way the cake looked and if I had to do it over again might go with a different baker. However, the amazing people there and the beautiful venue overshadowed the less than attractive cake without a doubt. Highly recommend KoalKeel.
