We loved this registry. As a older couple, we have most of the traditional items one would put on a registry, so we used Honeyfund to give our guests the option to give us gifts for our honeymoom. I think 90% or more of our guests liked the idea, and we got about 20 gifts through the registry.
Shari was an outstanding wedding planner. She was attentive, connected us with good vendors, helped solve any vendor-related issues, stayed on top of details, and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the wedding was a success (including personally ironing the father of the bride's tuxedo pants when they turned out to be wrinkled). And finally, she was reasonably priced.
While a bit pricy, Blooms flowers and deoor were stunning - and they delivered exactly what we asked for.
We haven't seen the photos yet, but Michael and Jamie provided excellent service at the wedding and the rehearsal dinner. They were very accommodating, especially given that we were running over schedule and people who were supposed to be in photos kept disappearing.
While the cake was lovely, one of the fillings was not what we had contracted for. Also, we had requested additional sheet cakes in the same flavors as our wedding cake so we could box it and send it home with guests; Fenoglietto's forgot about it. They were also to provide small eggless cakes in the same flavors as the wedding cake; they provided two dry cupcakes. If your reception site normally uses Fenogliettos, push back and tell them you want a credit to use someone else.
We had numerous problems with the invitations and related items, including multiple incorrect proofs and cake boxes that were too small. Choose someone else.
John was terrific. He and the band were excellent. In addition, he was able to read his audience well and played a mix that appealed to guests of all ages.
