The Centennial Lodge in Queens Park was absolutely awesome! Great service, friendly staff, easy regulations, wonderful layout and nice selection and options for equipment. I recommend this space for about 50 people with round tables. It is intimate. Don't forget to turn off the harsh strip lighting and use the softer round lights---we only noticed half way though the night :-( Receiving a thank-you and congratulatory note after from them was very nice, indeed. There were added touches all along the way. I was nice to have the rose garden, playground, waterpark and petting zoo right outside the door for our early guests from out of town with children. The park is beautiful for taking photos. I am very, very happy I chose this venue!
My sister suggested this website/company for my wedding invitations and reply cards. It was FANTASTIC! I ordered the large postcards and uploaded our Mexican beach wedding photo to the front and added our own writing to the front in the desired font and colour and size. On the back I printed all the information of the reception address and day time lines. These ended up being free! I only paid for the large envelopes. I then ordered the small postcards and uploaded the same photo for the front and put the RSVP info on the back. These were free also! I only paid for the envelopes that people would use to mail the RSVP cards back to us. What would've cost us at least $500.00 for simple invitations from a wedding store only cost us $30.00 for the envelopes and shipping. VistaPrint is a Canadian company but the American website seems to have all the better deals. Something my sister (who lives in Santa Monica pointed out to me). This was totally unique and personalized and I got soooo many compliments and questions---many plan on doing the same thing or at least suggesting it to others. It was so easy and there are operators that can help you over the phone if you are having trouble. The delivery was very fast! I was able to track the progress of my order from start to finish. I will use VistaPrint for other business uses in the future.
Very courteous service. They are so willing to work with you to accommodate exactly what you need for your particular tastes, time lines, decorations and number of guests. They were prompt and organized. We ordered the "Hearty Summer Fare" menu. It was acceptable quality of food---meaning, it wasn't gourmet or anything out of this world taste-wise. The lasagna could've been baked longer (cheese was still in solid form), the potatoes seemed over boiled even though they were supposed to be baked (tasteless and too flaky) and there was not enough salmon by a LONG SHOT (the most disappointing point of all). But! Everything else from the appetizers to the salads and desserts was great! Loved all the fruit and cheeses. The linen and place settings looked wonderful and they were willing to come early in the day before all our decorating started. If you want to keep the extras and not waste them, make sure you sign the waiver ahead of time and bring your own containers (dollar stores have aluminum containers with lids).
Great! So easy and fast. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. Lots of selection and everyone was so helpful and patient with me while I made all my important decisions. I will buy from them again.
