I have yet to get our photo album, but I've seen the pictures online, and they are just great. Amanda was super nice and knew how to get us to pose, even though we are definitely not "naturals." The only thing is that they are quite pricy.
**Update: Although quite attentive before the wedding, they have been somewhat slow to get in touch with us since. We still don't have an album 5 months later, although if we were more impatient I'm sure we could speed things up.**
Not in Erie, but Macy's bridal salon in Chicago was just wonderful. I paid a lot of money for my dress, but it was just stunning, and everyone kept telling me how beautiful it was (haha I know everyone has to say that, but still). My consultant was very friendly and personable. I would definitely recommend them.
We had no problems here. One piece of advice: try not to register for things that are excluded on their 20% off coupons you get in the mail. We can't use those coupons for our dishes, and it's driving us crazy since we'd love to buy more but wish we could still get a discount.
Two of the four tuxes we rented had problems upon pickup. They do have you try them on right there, and they replaced them the next day. Not bad.
Haven't yet gotten my video, so I guess I can't really say how good they were. On the day of, they were very nice, and not obtrusive.
Just found her in the phone book, but she was really great. She made the top layer in the flavor I requested (spice) and everyone said the cake tasted great.
Rick Kress was great. We had seen him before at various events (he went to our high school) and he was just as good at our wedding. Very inexpensive, too!
Our honeymoon was absolutely fantastic. Dominica is almost pristine - hardly any tourism. Jungle Bay was an awesome resort. If you like hiking and being active (stairs and yoga, etc.), then you will love Jungle Bay. Food was delicious, people were friendly. It is eco-friendly in every way and employs almost exclusively people who live in the area.
I absolutely loved my hair! I think Tara was my stylist. Anyways, I have a ton of hair and she hid it all away in a French twist like magic. It stayed in all day and looked immaculate. My manicure I didn't really care about, but my sister wasn't too pleased with hers.
