My fiance and I ordered a cake topper from Mirror Image Studios to have an heirloom item. When it arrived it looked fine. I'm sure there are better and I'm sure there are worse. Inside was what looked like a nice note from the owners, wishing me well and asking me to read a story. Turns out it was proselytizing about their religion. I'm of a different one and it was inappropriate for them to insert religion into my purchase of an heirloom -- after it had already been purchased. It tarnishes my enjoyment of the cake topper. There is a time and a place for everything. They would have served as better ambassadors if they focused on good deeds rather than inappropriate messages.
