Jose Luis & Martha Isabel from Manteles & Linos, our decorators, were always professional and the flowers and overall decorations were incredible. They wrapped the tree trunks with lights and had birdcages as well as lanterns decorating the event. Did I mention that the flowers were out of this world? They were :)
My bouquet was cascade style and they also decorated the flower girl's carriage. Beautiful!
I count myself lucky to have been able to find Yara del Rio as our wedding planner in Cartagena. While my now husband and I have family in Colombia, none of them are near Cartagena; and so, it was scary to plan a destination wedding when we had no references to go by and very little reviews to guide us….in comes Javier from Javier Barrera Productions (who was mentioned in one of the few reviews I found on-line), whose expertise is music and has an amazing band. He recommended Yara as a wedding planner. From the moment we reached out to Yara, her professionalism as well as down to earth nature were mind settling. She recommended great vendors and provided us with various options. She stands by the people she recommends and takes personal responsibility for the delivery of their services. The great relationships she has with the vendors were reflected in the whole event. Our photographer Manuel and his team from Pedraza Productions are truly experts in their field! They made us feel welcome and comfortable at all times. Yara also helped us with suggestions and vendors for guest events for the day after the wedding as well as before the wedding( chiva ride, island tours, ect). Jessica who is part of Yara’s team and also works with IVC Productions (the lighting vendor) was very helpful with everything from receiving packages sent ahead of time to ensuring that my bra didn’t show at the wedding! I would recommend Yara to any friend and family looking to tie the knot in Cartagena. She is honest, professional, knowledgeable in her field and a fairy godmother, who can help to make your dreams come true!
