Le agradezco mucho a Yara por todo el esfuerzo y la dedicación que le puso a nuestra boda. Yo vivo en Sydney-Australia y es dificil planear una boda desde tan lejos, pero Cartagena era nuestro sueño, en special el mio desde que era niña. Yara hizo que todo saliera como lo habíamos planeado, estuvimos en contacto por un año y todo salio perfecto.Ella siempre estuvo pendiente de responder mis mensajes y mis dudas. El dia de la boda su equipo fue genial, siempre pendiente de mi y mis invitados no tuve que preocuparme de nada, esto nos permitio disfrutar de la boda que creo es lo mas importante.

I am very grateful to Yara for all the effort and dedication that she put in our wedding. I live in Sydney Australia and it is difficult to plan a wedding from far away, but Cartagena was our dream, especially my dream since I was a little girl. Everything went as planned, we were in touch for a year and everything went perfect. She was always attentive to answer my messages and my doubts. On the wedding day, her team was great, always concerned about me and my guests, I did not have to worry about anything, this allowed us to enjoy the wedding that I think is most important.

Contacting Yara del Rio as my wedding planner and her company was the best decision I could have made because I only had 6 months to plan my wedding and my hometown is Bogota which is 2 hours away on a plane from Cartagena, so not living or being from where I was getting married made things extra hard, but then Yara and her whole team made the experience unforgettable, Ever since the first time we talked she committed a 100% on making my dream wedding come true, she sat down with me and listened to every single detail of how I pictured my special day and within days she had a list with all the vendors available that would suit my expectations, she made sure we would have an appointment with every single one of thems and took care of details like having everything ready (like samples) ready for my arrival due the fact I would only have 2-3 days a month in Cartagena, not only her work was exceptional but she became my friend, she made sure I could trust her and to this day I could say she will always be in our hearts, she would contact me every week making sure I had read all the contracts and different options that I had and she was always opened for my suggestions and whatever I didn't feel it was right she took care of it. Months finally passed and the week before the wedding arrived, my husband is American/Brazilian so 50 different people was getting from 2 countries, she made sure I picked the best hotel for them and helped me arrange transportation for them. We stared celebrating my wedding the day before with a cocktail party that as well Yara helped me plan and that day was perfect, next day was the day I was waiting for my entire life and since I woke up I was stress free because Yara and her team made sure everything was ready and taken care of, the moment I got to our church I looked around and it was just how I pictured it, then after the ceremony was over we went to our reception that looked like heaven, was exactly how I wanted it and I looked my own personal fairy tale, the whole party was amazing andi could say I will be forever a haooy bride thanks to my husband of course and Yara and her team! I don't know how to thank her for making june 13,2015 the best day of our lives

I count myself lucky to have been able to find Yara del Rio as our wedding planner in Cartagena. While my now husband and I have family in Colombia, none of them are near Cartagena; and so, it was scary to plan a destination wedding when we had no references to go by and very little reviews to guide us….in comes Javier from Javier Barrera Productions (who was mentioned in one of the few reviews I found on-line), whose expertise is music and has an amazing band. He recommended Yara as a wedding planner. From the moment we reached out to Yara, her professionalism as well as down to earth nature were mind settling. She recommended great vendors and provided us with various options. She stands by the people she recommends and takes personal responsibility for the delivery of their services. Claudia and Adriana from Adriana Santos Mora Catering & Eventos were amazing!! Our guests are still raving about the food and the beautiful displays. Jose Luis from Manteles & Linos, our decorators, was always professional and the flowers and overall decorations were incredible. Yara understood our ideas and was able to relate them to the vendors; she always made herself available when we reached out to her. The great relationships she has with the vendors were reflected in the whole event. Our photographer Manuel and his team from Pedraza Productions are truly experts in their field! They made us feel welcome and comfortable at all times. Yara also helped us with suggestions and vendors for guest events for the day after the wedding as well as before the wedding( chiva ride, island tours, ect). Jessica who is part of Yara’s team and also works with IVC Productions (the lighting vendor) was very helpful with everything from receiving packages sent ahead of time to ensuring that my bra didn’t show at the wedding! I would recommend Yara to any friend and family looking to tie the knot in Cartagena. She is honest, professional, knowledgeable in her field and a fairy godmother, who can help to make your dreams come true!

Yara fue mi mano derecha para todo, especialmente en el día de la boda. Yo hize todos los preparativos desde fuera de Colombia y es ahí donde te das cuenta de lo importante que es el correo electrónico y de contar con alguien quien puntualmente conteste a tus dudas y en algunas ocasiones, gritos de auxilio. Yara toma muy seriamente su trabajo, su objetivo es que los novios se sientan tranquilos porque todo va a salir bien. Ella me aprendio a conocer hasta el punto que sabia exactamente lo que me gustaba y lo que no me gustaba. Aunque mi mama vive en Cartagena y es una persona bastante insistente, obtener respuesta de algunos proveedores fue un dolor de cabeza. Tengo la fortuna de haber contado con Yara para que todo lo que estuvo bajo su comando saliera perfecto, y no exagero cuando digo perfecto. Si algo debo resaltar de Yara y de Jesica, su asistente, es su atencion para los detalles y su creatividad que me deslumbro, especialmente cuando en la mañana de la boda no sabía dónde ubicar varias cosas divinas (para la decoración y unas bolsas de tela estilo vintage con nuestros nombres) que había comprado online. Yo estaba desesperada porque pensé que me iba a demorar horas en eso, tiempo que no tenía, pero gracias a las ideas de estas expertas el problema quedo solucionado en menos de 5 minutos. No tengo palabras para describir el alivio que sentí al ver que todo se veía perfecto y que ya no tenía nada de que preocuparme. Los preparativos de una boda e incluso el mismo día de la boda están llenos de imprevistos, por eso me siento feliz de que todos estos inconvenientes hayan quedado en las manos capaces de este equipo. Hay muchas cosas más en las que Yara y Jesica me ayudaron que me gustaría contar pero entonces este escrito se convertiría en un ensayo. Para concluir, estoy inmensamente agradecida con ellas y recomiendo a Yara 100% como planeadora de bodas porque es alguien en quien verdaderamente puedes confiar y la creatividad de su grupo de trabajo no tiene límites.
