We took went to an all inclusive resort in Ocho Rios, Jamacia. It was actually cheaper then staying in the States and was AMAZING. So much to do, so romantic and you don't have to worry about paying for anything all week. The food was amazing and the beach was goregous.
It was pricie, but so worth it. We got a 24 person stretch and everyone had so much fun!
Mitch made our special day amazing! He added many personalized touches! All of our guest were entertained the whole night!
I wanted expensive looking, gorgegous flowers, and that is what we paid for but did not get! They used a lot of filler plants and carnations even though I specific said no greens or carnations! We also paid for the OWNER to be there to assist with everything which is one of the reasons we booked them, but instead she sent her assistant. The day before when I previewed the flowers they said they could not fix them because they had no flowers left and couldn't get anymore. My bridesmaids flowers were beautiful, I do have to give them that, but mine were half dead! And five tier cake was suppose to be covered in roses, but my cake lady got there to set it up and they were all brusied and darkened. So she had to run to WALMART to buy fresh roses (my cake and those flowers did turn out beautiful thanks to her!) My mother called to talk to the owner after the wedding and the owner wouldn't speak to her. She was also very rude to my cake lady, who was the one who refered Hometown to us!
I had the MOST beautiful cake ever. I designed it using some celebrity cakes. Marie did an amzing job. She also does different flavors. We had two tier with chocolate w/ fudge filling, a vanilla w/ strawberry filling, and a carrot cake. Marie works in the cake dpt. at Super One Foods if you would like to contact her, she also doesn cakes on her own.
My makeup was PERFECT and she really listened to me and did all by maids just perfect as well. The owner actually did it all and got us in at the least minute!
Our theme was Love is Sweet! So we had a chocolate fountain from Sakelly's which comes with an attendent!
We rented our tuxes from here. Found the perfect maids dresses and my dream gown! All in the little town of ESCANABA!
