The Cedar Beach Inn

We received MANY compliments on this venue. The look and feel of the place is definitely charming, the set-up is great for a medium-sized wedding, and the food was exceptional! As with any wedding experience, there were a few glitches. Understand that if you go with this venue, you must be patient with communication as this is a venue that is only open on weekends and they do not respond to their phone messages or emails every day. That being said, Christopher Thorin (venue manager) is a pleasure to work with, and I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, charming wedding venue!

Mirage

If you're going to buy off-the-rack and have your bridal party THERE to try on the dresses, your experience at Mirage should go well. However, we had a real mix-up due to an employee ordering a dress that was discontinued. One thing after another created a lot of anxiety! Everything worked out in the end, however, and the owner did what he could to make things right. Good prices, plenty of knee-length dresses to choose from, which is what we were looking for.

Countryside Digs and More

Eileen Perronne is the owner of this floral shop. Eileen went far above and beyond our expectations! First, she worked around our budget, then she did a beautiful and thorough job of designing our wedding floral needs, THEN her she and her husband not only delivered and set up all of the floral deco, they also moved it to our reception hall and decorated there for us! Amazing! Highly recommend!

Connie LeClair

Connie LeClair makes wedding cakes out of her home. She is not licensed, but some local venues will just have her sign a waiver to provide the cake. I was very pleased with the 3-tiered cake she provided. It was not a high-end, fancy cake, but it was just the right size, tasted delicious, and had the simple style that we requested. Thank you, Connie!

Wonderful Head Seamstress!

This was a 2nd wedding for me, and I wanted to pick out the perfect dress. I picked out a dress that flattered my figure, but was a bit too formal. CarolAnn, the head seamstress, helped to redesign the dress so that the best features of the dress remained, the least flattering were altered, and the style best represented what we wanted. The best part is that CarolAnn had fun with the process and was able to design the PERFECT dress! This made the process very enjoyable for me as well.

Men's Wearhouse

Considering we had a groomsman that was out-of-state, Men's Wearhouse was a great choice because it has stores in other states. Other than an order-history glitch because of a name misspelled, all went well and the guys looked great!

Phase 1 Mequon Limousines

2012-08-19 09:16:17

Some limo companies charge a minimum of 3 hours...not Phase 1, however! We were able to rent the limo for just over an hour, and the time was promised to be pro-rated after the 1st hour. Limo driver was very courteous, and the pricing made our limo ride a fun privilege we could afford! Liked working with Larry, the owner, and the fact that he was referred to us by another limo company owner (that was booked that day), gave us a lot of confidence in signing the contract. Thanks Phase 1!
