Victor is incredible!!!! He is a great DJ and he knows how to choose the right music at the right moment. I met him a few days before my wedding gave him some ideas of what we wanted and he delivered. My wedding was half Venezuelan and half Colombian and he had both parties dancing with multicultural choices and hits! His DJ equipment was placed on top of a LED platform changing colors throughout the night. He also did all the illumination. The pool at Casa Pombo looked terrific! He illuminated the balconies, windows, buffet, and reception hall as well. He is a talented and professional guy, and I highly recommend him.
Monica del Risco is truly great at what she does. She is very professional and we are extremely happy that my wedding planner (Caribe Cordial) recommended her. When we first met her, four days before my weeding, she welcomed us with the best tasting food and drinks that we have ever had. Everything that we planned during months was exactly in front of us. She had the table set up, while drinks and food started to arrive for our final review. Her refreshing “limonada de coco” (Coconut lemonade), daiquiris, and mojitos were outstanding! Ceviche, arroz de coco, and atahito de verduras were to die for! Her fresh salad with passion fruit dressing was incredible. Monica and her assistant took notes the entire time for all our comments, making sure all the details were covered. Although she offers a great variety of food, I wanted to give my guests the best impression of Colombian food. Monica del Risco went beyond my imagination. The day of my weeding her servers and all her team really made a great impression. We were ALL taken care of and felt like royalty, with drink refills after long dancing songs at our fingertips. The buffet set up was attended with her staff wearing gloves and masks, very hygienic. I cannot thank her enough. If you are getting married in Cartagena, you don’t have to choose anybody else. My family and friends are still savoring the most tasteful food ever. THANK YOU MONICA you really made our day UNFORGETTABLE.
Being a bride-to-be represents lots of challenges. You have to think about a budget and then figure out how, when and where. I knew I wanted to get married in Cartagena, but I didn’t have a clue how to do it. At the beginning of my decision making process journey, I read all the reviews for every single wedding planner. I narrowed it down to only three of them. I inquired information for the first one (randomly chosen), and started filling out a spreadsheet with personal and wedding details that they provided. I was really overwhelmed, and I completely stopped for a couple of months. I needed to know the basics and figure out what I wanted first, and I was not ready for that just yet. One day I decided to wrap up the “spreadsheet”, and I sent it out. To my surprise, I received the rudest email ever from that wedding planner. I could not believe my eyes. Her response was: We will not be in Cartagena for that day (my tentative wedding day); therefore, we can’t coordinate your weeding. I was very upset, but at the same time I was glad I did not choose that company. They didn’t value me as a customer... So, I went ahead and sent an e-mail to Caribe Cordial, and it was the best decision ever! Caribe Cordial welcomed me like family. They walked me trough every detail and I felt really good and secure. Sandra helped me with preliminary details, wedding colors and general details. She has a great taste and she is a sweetheart. I changed my wedding date 3 times, and they did not have any problems. I worked with Juan Camilo at the end of the planning process, and he is defiantly a PRO for this business. He is into details and has GREAT ideas. I had a Polaroid picture station with costumes for my guests. He gave me tips and a great variety of choices. He knew the vendors well and was always targeting the best prices based on my budget. They are caring people. The day of my wedding my dress ripped and in a matter of seconds they were sawing it. They are prepared professionals that LOVE what they do. They are a great team and they deserve it. The day of my wedding was the best day of my life, and it was because of them. They made an exceptional work. Caribe Cordial succeeded my expectations. Diego Moya is a true artist. When I visited his Salon, I knew I was in good hands. I did not have to explain anything, just with a few words, he knew what I wanted. He knows and maintains his salon with current trends. He offers a great variety of French products, which I love. The piano at the entrance, his staff and working station are impressive. They tried to accommodate me with the best schedule possible for my busy agenda and were super helpful! My mother, sister and niece were happy with his job the day of my weeding. My experience with Diego was outstanding. I will definitely visit his salon again!
The best cake ever!!! I know everyone says the same! Trust me; you will not regret the money spent on it. I don’t think or remember I have attended to a wedding where the cake was at least good. Elsy Salgado de Figueroa has not only the best expertise exposure in town, but the most variety of exotic flavors and creative and original cakes. We had a tasting appointment at her bakery, and her lovely daughter was ready with the picture of my dream cake on hand waiting for us. We tried 3 different flavors and we chose orange with almond. She offers lots of options and combinations. They are all good and mouth melting. We had a great experience and service. We will definitely visit her bakery shop in the future! It is a must stop whenever we go back to Cartagena!!!
Monica del Risco did a spectacular job decorating my entire wedding. My ceremony’s décor was impeccable. My ceremony was a Casa Pombo and the tree from the main courtyard was decorated with real dropping flowers and crystals, it was AMAZING. I was really surprised and extremely happy when I walked in. It was a memorable moment. My bouquet was just how I wanted it. The centerpieces and floral arrangements on the buffet and throughout the house were so beautiful. I really appreciate all the hard work. Monica is a great professional and super polite person. I felt in love with her service and personality! Kudos to Monica and all her staff!
