Dennis provided the best mix of ceildh, dj and jokes throughout the night to keep everyone on the dance floor!
The reception vendor also catered the meal and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious!! Everyone came up to me at some point to compliment the food. I opted for a waiter service which allowed my guests to have a choice between aberdeen angus or chicken stuffed with haggis in a mustard sauce, or a vegetarian option was available as well. It was so good my husband and I didn't leave our seats until we finished!
Jamie is such a talented individual! I went to him with a clear idea of what I wanted but unable to figure out how to get there. He must have spent an hour (at least) with me, talking through the options and showing me ideas on-line. He was accommodating to personal touches (adding a special cutting from a dear friends garden). When I saw my bouquet, my breathe was taken it away, it surpassed my wildest dreams!! And the flowers in the church were stunning. I decided to do the reception flowers myself, but sourced the flowers from Jamie and again he didn't disappoint, the flowers were in superb condition and he was incredibly helpful discussing ideas. I love Jamie and will always go back!!
Scotia Pipers made hiring a piper, quick and easy. They were contentious, timely and professional. Absolute pleasure working with them. Jim Forbes, our piper, was incredibly talented and knew exactly what to play to get the crowd going.
The team at Johnalan were great. My hair was beautiful and the bridesmaids all looked fantastic! My only, small, criticism would be that two of the bridesmaids took a lot longer. So they finished about an hour after. It would have better it we had one more hairdresser to keep everyone on the same timeline.
The styles that they did were first class!
