Jason from Excel was a good DJ. Overall we were happy with him b/c he put on a really good party at the wedding. There were a few small things, like he was really late for one of our meetings, and he forgot a folder of pictures as part of our background-picture-slideshow, which upset my mom. But as a DJ, he was quite good and kept the party going strong.
I LOVED these guys. I'm blanking on their names right now, but I really loved working with them. They are both retired school teachers, and they grow most of their own stuff. I really wanted locally grown flowers, so it was perfect. They were very afforable, unlike all the other places I looked at which seemed like total rip offs. They were super sweet and wanted to work with us to make things exactly how we wanted - also refreshing after dealing with some other vendors. I definitely recommend them.
I really wanted to do a 'green' favor. Originally I was going to grow individual basil plants for everyone, but I got a plant disease and had to start over :-( luckily i found the national arbor day fdn's gift trees. Overall I was very happy with these as favors, although you might want to order a few extras (and a variety of kinds) b/c I got three kinds and one of the kinds that came wasn't in the best shape. There were enough 'good' ones that I didn't have to give anyone a sickly looking one. People seemed to like them and I know at least some people who actually planted them, though I didn't follow up to make sure they made it through the winter. Unfortunately we moved right after the wedding so didn't get a chance to plant ours.
These guys are great! definitely recommend them. they did an outstanding job, which i knew they would by looking at the examples on their site. all the other videographers i looked at looked so cheesy, not these guys. they put together a very classy product, and are also very nice to work with, we wanted one speech edited out after we got our video back, and they had no problem doing it for us. they also let us have the raw footage which is also really fun to have. really nice, professional people and i barely even knew they were at the wedding. definitely recommend them..just check out the examples on their website and you'll know why.
