National Arbor Day Foundation

I really wanted to do a 'green' favor. Originally I was going to grow individual basil plants for everyone, but I got a plant disease and had to start over :-( luckily i found the national arbor day fdn's gift trees. Overall I was very happy with these as favors, although you might want to order a few extras (and a variety of kinds) b/c I got three kinds and one of the kinds that came wasn't in the best shape. There were enough 'good' ones that I didn't have to give anyone a sickly looking one. People seemed to like them and I know at least some people who actually planted them, though I didn't follow up to make sure they made it through the winter. Unfortunately we moved right after the wedding so didn't get a chance to plant ours.
