We loved working with Allison and the team at Susie Cakes on the design of our wedding cake. They really do add the personal touch, especially when you meet them for your initial consultation and tasting. I brought in sample ideas and colors of what I had in mind, although I did not know initially what I wanted the cake to look like. They really helped me along in drafting ideas after our meeting took place. By the way, their cakes are DELICIOUS! One of my friends who attended our wedding does NOT like cake in general and she actually had 2 slices of wedding cake because it was so moist and delicious. :) Susie Cakes prices are also very reasonable indeed and did not break the bank. I could not be more pleased with the job they did for us and delivering the cake to our Malibu location from Calabassas. We still buy cupcakes from them every so often and hope they stick around for a LONG time!
John was amazing to work with from day 1. He has a very innate sense of the couple's style after meeting them a couple of times and reviewing photos that he's taken of other weddings. He doesn't have one set way of photographing weddings, but does have a great eye in capturing random moments. I absolutely love our wedding photos (and engagement photos) and couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend John Boone.
I am so happy that I was referred to Debbie Fields. Right off the bat we clicked very well and she was patient with me, as I honestly had very little idea of what I wanted with the exception of the color scheme. She also was very conscientious of my budget and working within these parameters, while offering me a few options to chooose from that fit my style. I couldn't be more please by my experience working with her. The flowers at our ceremony and reception were beautiful and beyond my expectations! I highly recommend Floral Fields.
Scott Norris is wonderful to work with. He is extremely organized, professional, fun and was really key in helping move things along when it came to the overall flow of the wedding and reception. Everyone at the reception danced (which is what we wanted) and he played music that appealed to everyone's varied tastes. :) We highly recommend Scott if you are looking for a reliable and fun DJ at a reasonable rate.
