Floral Fields

Debbie Fields was recommended to us by our photographer. We called and made an appointment to meet with her but there seems to have been a communication gap and she never showed up. My husband and I don’t live in the LA area where our wedding was taking place so we hired her anyway based on her portfolio.

Working with Debbie was a little stressful as I’d caution that emails are not the best method of communication with her. Our wedding was in October (2012) and we wanted our flowers to be an “autumn celebration” of bright yellows, reds, oranges, and greens. I sent numerous pictures of flower arrangements that I liked but Debbie’s assistant simply wrote down the flower names in our file. We struggled with a communication breakdown where we wanted bright flower arrangements and she thought we wanted rustic arrangements. However, after a few phone conversations with Debbie directly looking at our suggested images and arrangements she did understand what we were looking for.

In the end the flowers were really beautiful and we were very happy!

I am so happy that I was referred to Debbie Fields. Right off the bat we clicked very well and she was patient with me, as I honestly had very little idea of what I wanted with the exception of the color scheme. She also was very conscientious of my budget and working within these parameters, while offering me a few options to chooose from that fit my style. I couldn't be more please by my experience working with her. The flowers at our ceremony and reception were beautiful and beyond my expectations! I highly recommend Floral Fields.

Don't envy the florist who winds up with an interior designer's wedding; like mine!

I had some "big" and pretty specific ideas.

But after a couple of creative and laid back meetings with Deb, I realized I wouldn't have to micro-manage. Not only did she totally "get" my vision, she contributed elements and ideas I wouldn't have thought of.

Her quiet confidence will surely reassure any jittery bride (or groom) and with good reason!

Floral Fields execution of our wedding was flawless.

We had some tough tasks, including transforming the pool into an illuminated carpet of dahlia and filling enormous bowls with carefully "un-arranged" arrangements.

The visual impact was simply put, extraordinary. Deb juggled country chic with cutting-edge style to create a classic-yet-modern look that defined the day.

After Deb had worked her magic, it really didn't matter if anything else went wrong!!!

She was actually the florist at the other wedding on site. Our florist didn't show and she came through in 30 minutes with a beautiful bouquet, chair decorations and table decor. I wish I had hired her in the first place! She wouldn't accept money from us either. So I want to leave high marks for future business everywhere!
