This place had everything we needed for wedding supplies - we even bought pre-made bridesmaids bouquets here and made the men's flowers and the bride's bouquet from what we purchased here. Though our flowers were not real, nobody could tell because of the quality. AND, we spent a fraction of the price using fake instead of real (compare $200 to $800 for ONE day).
This hole-in-the-wall honey farm is family run and makes a great product. We gave their honey bears to out-of-town family members (the hotel left them in their rooms). It's locally grown and a "sweet" favor to give to family with a note attached that says "Thanks for bee-ing with us on our special day, Love..."

Michaels offers a lot of DIY invitations, programs and wedding supplies to be made at home. The end result was great but it wasn't as easy as the instructions made them seem :)
We actually didn't buy tuxes and matching bridesmaids' dresses because they are expensive, and WHO really wears them a second time? Instead, my bridesmaids bought sundresses that flattered their bodies and that they liked (with certain stipulations) and the groomsmen bought khakis, a dress shirt, shoes, belt and tie from MW for the same price that they would have rented a tux. Now they all have clothes that they can wear again or even to work. GREAT IDEA!
We asked some students from my husband's school to perform at our ceremony and reception. They did a fantastic job and were affordable :)

One-on-one treatment (unlike stock-store David's Bridal!), unique wedding gowns and polite staff. I would not go anywhere else.
This site is awesome. Essentially, you pick out what you want to make, design it and send it off to print. All the bridesmaids received personalized stationary from Vistaprint and the programs that we ordered from there are gorgeous. We were even able to include images in our program such as a wedding map created on weddingmapper.com.
We bought the Breakfast Blend Columbian Coffee from this Florida Keys-based vendor and gave out the coffee packets as favors to our guests with quotes such as "Love is the perfect blend" attached on labels. It was a favor that EVERYONE uses (coffee is a commodity) and enjoyed because it was freshly roasted.
