Elsy made us a beatiful cake. She followed our wishes, putting the specific ribbon we wanted on the cake (that matched our wedding theme), and also put a beautiful monogram on the cake. She also complied with our desire to have guavas under the cake. The cake itself was delicious, the best cake I have ever had. When we arrived to the reception we saw that cake as even more beautiful than the picture we gave Elsy to follow. We are extremely glad Elsy made our cake and she should also make yours.
Antonio Florez was a pleasure at our wedding. He made sure to take pictures the way we wanted (we gave him examples of what we liked from magazines). We initially didn't want to go with him because we wanted a more journalistic style, and Florez seemed more traditional ... but we were very happy that he gave us exactly the type of pictures we wanted and that they came out wonderfully. Antonio is flexible and he will accomodate to your wishes. His wife Vilma was also great to work with, and we felt extremely fortunate to have hired them.
Felipe Madariaga was extremely professional. He gave us options for music for our weddding mass very well ahead of time, explained the choices to us, and even found further options for us upon our request. We discussed back and forth until we had settled upon exactly what the music choices should be. The soprano that works with him was extremely good and she presented herself very well (beautifully dressed for our wedding). The supporting musicians were also excellent. We also hired a violinist to play during dinner and it was also extremely beautiful and professional. We definitely recommend having Felipe in charge of your wedding music.
We had a dream wedding and reception thanks to La Chiche. She is extremely attentive, has great taste, and worked extremely hard for our wedding (though ours was small). She helped us to have all the details we wanted, and we have no regrets at all. If we were going to do anything like this again in Cartagena, the first thing I would do is contact La Chiche.
Adriana Santos' menu for our wedding was stellar. The food was so delicious! The presentation was excellent. Adriana worked to give us everything we wanted (including vegetarian options) She was incredibly patient and responded immediately to all of our questions. She also followed our request to set up a candy buffet! Her assistant Claudia was also amazing. She went beyond the call of duty on our wedding day to make everything come together beautifully. Adriana and Claudia are definitely two people you want to have in charge of your wedding menu!
