The staff at Saluations was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. My initial experience of invitation shopping was dreadful at a previous store; so it was a relief and comfort to discover Salutations. As soon as you walk in the store they greet you with a kindness as if they have known you forever. They will provide as much or as little guidance as you prefer in choosing your invitations, designing them, and picking the wording. They did an excellent job of showing us various price ranges and helping to design the perfect invite for our budget. Our final product was gorgeous! We have already recommended them to a friend and her invitations are currently being printed.
Rob was everything and more that we could have asked for in a DJ. He did an excellent job of keeping the night moving along even when our day of coordinator let things fall a little behind. His website is very self explanatory and he is more than willing to help you out (on Mondays or Tuesdays as he's busy with events on the weekends) if you want to talk with him. He will also contact you a few days in advanced to go over name pronunciations, timelines and any last details so don't stress in the months prior if you don't speak with him. Rob's MC skills were top notch and he ensured that our guests had a great time. Thanks for helping to make our special day perfect! Kaitlin & Dan
Carolina Mediastar is an exceptional team that captures each moment so that you will have the memory for a lifetime. Sarah and Terry did a superior job of making our entire bridal party, family, and friends feel comfortable which created very natural pictures. They were able to catch each detail that we spent so much time planning. In addition, their photography is creative and artistic giving you a viewpoint you may never have thought of. Their price is a steal for the quality and professionalism that they provide. We are so grateful to them for their amazing work. We would highly recommend them to any bride and plan to refer all of our friends in the area.
My initial experience at Alfred Angelo was excellent. My friend and I both received great service from a visiting manager of another one of their locations. We both ordered our dresses that day. Once we paid for our dresses the service went downhill. My friends dress came in and was HUGE! They claimed that it was the size she ordered. After great argument with them she convinced them to order the same dress in the size she requested to compare. Sure enough the factory made a error and the store was willing to let her trade them. I orginially planned to take my dress home 2 months early as I was flying back for my wedding in NC. I went for my first tailor appointment. The store told me it would be about 200 to shorten the dress and add a bustle; however when I went to their tailor she informed me that because of the lace overlay it would be 500 to shorten and add a bustle. She did an excellent job shortening the dress and adding the bustle. I then decided to leave my dress with her and have the final fitting there instead of in NC. Big Mistake! At my next appointment (that she scheduled) there were at least 10 girls waiting for my "appointment time". She tried to charge me "rush" alteration charges when she is the one that scheduled the appointment at that time. She spent very little time with me so I walked out of the store questioning whether the dress was going to fit when it was done and almost in tears because she had been so mean. When I returned to pick up my dress she again had done a great job but they charged me 120 in addition to the original 500 and she was very rude and rushed! My advice to you is go somewhere else to get your dress. This is not how wedding dress shopping is supposed to be. If you do choose to buy one of their dresses because you can't resist the price definitely get your alterations done somewhere else.
