We love Fully Alive Photography! She did our engagement photos and took boudoir photos of the bride for the groom's wedding present. We could not book her for our wedding because she had a conflict, but we loved working with Tracy. She is very professional and great at what she does. She's got a lot of creative ideas and really made us feel comfortable. We love all of the photos she has taken for us and recommend her to everyone!
I got my wedding dress at Bridal Elegance and was pretty happy with their service. They do have a lot of employees, so I think your experience depends on who helps you. I went in once to look at and try on some dresses without an appointment and they were able to accommodate me. They wrote everything down so that when I returned I could look at the dresses I liked. When I went in a second time with my bridesmaids I set up an appointment. They didn't start pulling the dresses until we got there and we ended up having to wait for close to a half an hour. This was frustrating because we were in a little bit of a time crunch. Since they knew we were coming, they should have had the dresses pulled when we got there. That day the manager helped us and she was great. She was very knowledgable and we had a good experience. I do wish they had a tailor on site, but they did steam my dress a couple days before the wedding for just $10, which I thought was very reasonable.
Linda was great! She had my dress ready when she was supposed to and did what I wanted with the bustle. My dress ended up being a little tight, but I'm not sure if that was her fault or mine. I would recommend her though. She was very sweet and still professional.
Our groomsmen and the groom bought suits and rented ties/vests from Men's Warehouse. They were very accommodating and we enjoyed working with them. We went when they were running a sale, so everyone got their suits for just $150. It's super helpful that they work with David's Bridal so vests can match dresses. They also have a tailor on-site, which was such a relief. One groomsmen had a problem getting his pants back, but everything worked out. I loved that I could go online and see who to nag about not renting their vest and tie yet. It was also helpful that they have so many locations. We had a groomsmen who lived out of state, so he was able to go in for a vest fitting and rent his tie in another state. I do wish the rentals didn't have to be returned the next day, but it was fine. I would recommend Men's Wearhouse for sure.
Amber did a great job with our wedding day beauty. We had a second stylist with us, but Amber did my airbrush make-up and styled hair for two of my four bridesmaids. She worked very quickly, which is always helpful when you are in a time crunch! My bridesmaids looked beautiful, and I loved my make-up! The airbrush was a bit uncomfortable for me because I wasn't used to it, but she did her best to help me relax. The make-up stayed on all day and night though tears, sweat, and everything else! If you want a professional stylist who will make you feel beautiful, go with Amber!
I would recommend Sugar Art to anyone looking for affordable, delicious desserts or catering for your wedding. They are not the most professional people you will meet with, but they know what they're doing. We had cupcakes at our wedding and had to pay a non-refundable fee to borrow a cupcake stand. I do wish we could have gotten our money back on that since we just used it for one night, but overall we were happy with Sugar Art. Everyone raved about how good our cupcakes were! She also drew our monogram on each cupcake for no extra fee.
We dealt with Cindy at Jean's Flower Basket, and had a very pleasant experience. We weren't exactly sure what we wanted and we could have used a little more guidance in the selection process, but she was still very helpful. I met with her multiple times and she was patient with all of my questions. Our flowers were gorgeous and I was very happy!
Grace Church was awesome! They were so sweet to us and very affordable. We were able to have a slideshow video played after the ceremony, and the sound guy (George) even recorded our music. The man who was supposed to be the janitor could not come due to a family emergency, but they did not miss a beat. He was quickly replaced, and his substitute did a wonderful job. Grace Church does have certain criteria you must meet if you get married there, but most churches do. Although it is not necessarily open to everyone, it was perfect for us!
We loved having DJ4U at our event! They are very professional and did everything asked. My husband and I are very into music and we created a list of songs we wanted to be played during dinner. DJ4U was able to accommodate us and did a wonderful job. Our DJ, Jason (who is the president and founder of DJ4U) did an excellent job getting our wedding guests on the dance floor and pumped up. He made sure to let us know when he was going to start everything so there were no surprises. He takes requests and has so much music that pretty much everyone's requests should always get granted. We loved DJ4U!
