Rent Photo Booth

2010-02-13 19:35:45

I would definately recommend renting a photo booth if you are interested! The guests LOVED it. However, I may suggest going somewhere else. There are several out there that rent them out. The one we used was not the most expensive, and we didnt have any real trouble, just a few snaffus (the attendant that was sent to run it was there with his girlfriend in jeans, and some communication issues with us and them.) However, the idea of having a photo booth was so worth it- I just may go somewhere else next time...

We used Bonnie and her "team" for the "Peaceful Day" package. She was a life saver more thna once before the day, as I was in Atlanta planning. She ran the show at the rehearsal, took care of all those little details even a very involved bride would forget, and made the day absolutely wonderful. Even if you're planning everything yourself, do yourself a favor and work with Bonnie so that you can enjoy the actual wedding day!!

Ony Salon

Tiffony at ONY was a life saver. The week before the wedding, we hadnt found a salon in town that didnt charge an arm and a leg for what we wanted- and I was referred to Tiffony. After a few emails back and forth, she seemed to know exactly what I wanted. She was able to come to US on the mornign of the wedding to do my hair and a few others'- she was professional, friendly, fast, on time, and did a great job on everyone she did. (They also sent us the greatest "bridal emergency" gift bag that made my morning!) I would definatly recommend her services!

Men's Warehouse

Only rental place in Savannah, although we set up an account in Atlanta with them. Wanted dark brown tuxedos, and they only had one choice. However, it ended up looking perfect! We had a few last minute emegencies with the tuxes and sizes that ended up taking 3 more trips back to the store, although they did end up getitng it all right in the end. A warning: brown tuxes are about twice the cost of regular ones... if you are intersted. For my wedding colors though, I think it was worth it.

Target

After searching everywhere for non-strapless Bridesmaid dresses, we found them, of all places, online at target.com. Just had to mention becuas eof the great deal! Go online, look at their party dresses. Super affordable- we just had a friend that could sew make sashes to go with them. We also ended up finding matching shoes as well. Dress for less that $40,shoes for less than $20- my Bridesmaids loved me, and no one ever knew where they were from!

John Zeuli Photography

If I could give one vendor of mine an "extra star," John would be the one. Incredibly professional, creative, and helpful from day one of contacting him. We had the benefit of a very talented team of photographers to catch all the special moments. John spoke with me thoroughly before the big day to discuss plans and my needs, and had some great impromtu ideas the day of the wedding, as well. Bonus: Just ONE week after we returned from our honeymoon, we received a full set of prints, our photo cds, photos online to view, and a photo release form--- and are able to get reprints anywhere! (For a creative bride, I can't imagine having it any other way!) All my family and friendse that views John's photos goes on and on about how beautiful they are. Since the photos speak for themselves, please check some of them out at www.priceweddingphotos.shutterfly.com

Kiwi Fleur Inc.

When I first visited Vicki at Kiwi Fleur, I had a coupld of magazine pictures that I liked, but had no idea what I wanted for my flowers. Vicki was patient, very very helpful, and had some fabulous ideas! She also was very accomodating with special requests, very easy to get in touch with from out of town, and a geniune pleasure to speak to every time! Plus, the flowers on the day of the wedding were so beautiful that everyone commented on them! She blew my expectations out of the water. Very knowledgable, creative, and talented. Well worth it- even if the flowers dont last forever, they are in all the pictures forever- so worth getting the best!

Because the church was 3 miles from the historic district, we used a trolley to help get the guests back and forth from the hotels,to the church,to the reception site. Although I didnt have a lot of interaction with them before, they showed up right on time, didnt through in any surprise charges, and made the day go by smoothly. A small touch that the guests loved. Professional. Very affordable.
