Kristin is AMAZING. She did the makeup for my wedding as well as for another wedding I was in. Besides her magical skills for making you look like you belong in a magazine.. she also is exactly the type of personality you want to have around on your wedding day. She is upbeat and FUN and fit right in with my group. I highly recommend Kristin - but book fast, she seems to be in high demand.
We were about to sign a contract with a better known cake place - I couldn't be happier that we didn't. I have a gigantic sweet tooth so choosing a cake baker was a big deal for me. We told them we wanted a cake with raspberry and peanutbutter cream. Essentially a PB&J cake. Not only did they not laugh us out of the shop - they produced the most delicious cake we have ever had. 7 months later and our guests are still talking about it. Not to mention aesthetically, the cake was gorgeous. This place is great - book them.
Rev. Flagg was great. Calm, professional and open to our suggestions. I really liked his laid back style.
Unfortunately for me, my HUSBAND ;) found this vendor. His gloating is getting pretty annoying. John Friedah of BK Angeletti was a perfect fit for us! We met with 2 other photographers before we met John. We didn’t like the look of overly retouched shots, which others seemed to use. We wanted to look like ourselves while really capturing the emotions of the moment. John has done work for the National Geographic and the ProJo. I just got my pictures back and they are amazing! Actually I have over 2k of them which far exceeded my expectations. I felt very comfortable with him and am very happy that he was our photographer.
I think that the rave reviews that are all over the web for Florals by Alisa speak for themselves. I didn’t feel like a bride until my bouquet arrived. All of our arrangements FAR exceeded my expectations (though the bar was set high already from what I’ve heard about them). They are a relatively small company so I consider myself extremely lucky to have been able to book them. I have never been to a wedding whose flowers came even close to how gorgeous mine were. Affordable too!
No complaints. The trolley was on time and well maintained. Our wedding party thought it was a cool way to travel. I liked how we were able to cram so many people in it with room to spare (wedding party & their dates, readers & dates. etc).
Lynda did a wonderful job. I loved how my hair came out, my maidens looked gorgeous. Quick tip, go for an up-do if you plan on taking pictures on the beach. The wind and salty air didn’t agree too well with some of my BMs. Lynda also was open to the feedback of my entrouge (bridesmaid, mother in law and my auntie) No one in that crew would allow for even one hair to be out of place and Lynda took it like a champ. I am still getting compliments on how my hair looked!
This was the only vendor that I regretted. I had heard nothing but raved reviews about Suzanne - so I felt very comfortable with booking her as our DJ. The pros: she showed up for the wedding on time, seemed nice, and was presentable. The cons: She was extremely low energy (I was expecting more of an MC i guess). She did not stick to the playlist we gave her (instead played Celine Dion - ick). We wanted to do a bouquet toss/giveaway - she never did it. She almost overlooked a special dance we requested for the grooms parents. We repeatedly tried to contact her in the months/weeks/days leading up to the wedding. She finally contacted us 2 days before our wedding. I regret not spending more $$ on a better DJ.
