A lot of turn around in staff, if I hadn't called them to check in, I'm not sure they would have remembered that we had a wedding there. That's my own complaint. But you can't beat the Gardens, it's absolutely the most beautiful place to get married.
Colleen definitely sold me at our first meeting. She had great suggestions, she was easy to work with, and she was able to help me put together a vision of what I wanted while staying in my budget. What I wished were that my flowers would have lasted a little longer. I understand that perhaps it's because I chose delicate flowers, but if I had known that in the beginning, I may have went in a different direction. But everything turned out beautifully.
Bill did not show up at our reception. He made it to the ceremony, but two hours later never made it to the reception and then 1 hour late to the reception, he called to say that he 5 minutes away and never made it. He was great at the ceremony, but if you want to take a risk and not know for sure whether he'll make it to your reception, then give him a chance. If you ask me to do it all over again, I would have NEVER picked him.
Vickie is professional, she knows exactly what she's doing, and she made the ceremony exactly how we wanted it. She's able to project her voice in an outdoor space, she knows how to lead people in a rehearsal, and she just an overall sweet lady. We love her!
Deseri is wonderful. She's easy to work with, has great suggestions and ideas. At the last minute when my DJ didn't show up, she was able to find someone else so our day wouldn't be ruined.
Doug is wonderful. There are pictures from my wedding that captured each moment so perfectly and we are so happy with his work.
