Hands down, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding was to hire Dewet van Rooyen at Mandelbrot Films. We decided to go for the big guns and get the documentary feature as opposed to just a film of the wedding day itself, and we couldn't be happier with the end product. Dewet and his video crew are amazing to work with, very accommodating, and I can't recommend them highly enough. WORTH EVERY LAST PENNY!
Lizelle is not only the easiest, friendliest, professional photographer you could imagine working with -- she's also one of the most talented. Everyone who's seen our wedding / trash the dress photos has been awe-struck by her artistry. Book her without hesitation!
Nadia is an angel with the patience of a saint. You can tell she's been working with brides for a long time. She went out of her way to help us achieve the look we wanted (decor & flowers) at a price we could afford. When there was an 11th hour issue with our flowers, she turned the situation around and designed arrangements for us that were probably better in the end than our original selections. Nadia rocks.
An ABSOLUTE pleasure! Because we were living overseas during our engagement, I only had the chance to meet Stephen once (without my husband) prior to hiring him. He was the perfect fit for what we wanted. Respectful and reverent, but also easy going with the right amount of humour. We couldn't have been happier with Stephen. He set a tremendously heartwarming tone to our ceremony.
Karen's aesthetic, and willingness to adapt her designs to my requests, were incredible. I LOVED LOVED LOVED my dress! Karen converted it after the wedding and it's as beautiful, if not moreso, than the original. A worthwhile investment piece.
Make-up artist of note. Colleen whipped through the bride and three bridesmaids without breaking a sweat. A true professional. We all looked gorgeous, if I may so myself.
