Dj mike was fantastic! He not only created a custom song list for our wedding, he set up music for both the ceremony and reception. He is perfect for weddings and knows all the ins and outs of the wedding bussiness. His price is very resonable and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Thanks Mike.
Our sister in law took care of dealing with this company so I cannot attest to their customer service. What I can attest to is how they did not follow directions and gave us what we ordered for the wedding which was a 30 passenger shuttle. Funny thing is our guests told us that a shuttle did show up and pick them up for the transportation to the venue, however when the company came to pick us up from the venue to go into town for our after party, they sent a limo instead. The entire reason I hired a transportation vendor was so that we would mainly have a shuttle (party bus) to take from the wedding into town. The driver apparently asked one of our guests if it was okay to bring a limo back, and our guest who was not the customer told him okay. I never found out why this happened and why the driver would ask my guest this as my guest wasn't the one paying him. This made for a lot of people being left out of the limo ride since hardly anyone could fit in their limo. I was very disappointed as I didn't get the party bus experience. Also, the limo wasn't even stocked with champagne or ice which I thought was odd since it was for a wedding. I don't recommend them for this huge mix up as it is imperative that your vendor listen to the customer's orders and not guests.
Mary Jane was our celebrant/officiant. She had an extremely positive attitude and went to the great lengths to draft the perfect personalized ceremony for us. She is extremely well organized and prepared giving us tons of samples of ceremonies. We designed a diverse ceremony which included a hand fasting, rose ceremony and wine ceremony and our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed our ceremony and found it to be very personable. After the wedding Mary Jane made up a formal decorative keepsake copy of our ceremony and sent it to us as a gift. We really can't attest to the chemistry that needs to coexist between you and your vendors as they are either going to make or break your day. You want to make sure that they understand you and your vision and Mary Jane did just that. She was a former Marriage & Family therapist and that definitely is something to her advantage in her job as a celebrant. Traci was my second makeup artist as I had tried another Sacramento MUA and it didn't work out. Traci knows how to work with brides in helping them create a look that is unique to them on their wedding day. She was able to do an nontraditional bridal look on me and was excited about that. She was open to trying out new looks. We did 3 looks before I found the look I wanted and each time she was patient and receptive to my requests and critiques. On the day of the wedding she showed up and felt like a part of the bridal party as she had such a friendly and relaxed vibe about her that just is infectious. She was a great vendor and I am glad I had a bad experience with one makeup artist that led me to her. She is truly a gem and everyone loved my makeup! She is also very reasonable priced and even gave me as well as my mother in law samples of makeup. Highly recommend her!
I had flowers included as a part of my package at Monte Verde Inn and did not have any elaborate floral arrangements at my wedding. But, after hiring an etsy seller to make my bridal bouquet out of fabric flowers took my money and ran I was left with no bridal bouquet a week before my wedding! Louise of Oshay's took care of me with one week notice and made such a beautiful and unique bouquet that was actually above and beyond my design requests. They also made the mothers corsages, the grooms bout, and the flower petals for the flower girls. They were extremely reasonably priced and excellent with communication since I did everything by email and phone living out of the area. I highly recommend them.
