The band completely worked with us to come up with a play list that we were comfortable with. Our guests all raved about how great they sounded!
We thought we were getting a great deal by choosing Miller's for our florist. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for! The prices were much lower than any other quote we got, but what was delivered on our wedding day was not what we discussed. The star gazer lillies that made up all the bouquets still had their pollen in them - not so bad for my bridesmaid's black dresses, but horrifying for me in my white wedding gown! When I saw the florist later in the day I told her that I was disappointed and she denied that it was possible. Also, the centerpieces did not include the submersible lights that gave them the "wow" factor everyone wants on their special day. And, the flowers in the centerpieces were the wrong color!
We rented a trolley for the 2 hours between ceremony and reception to take pictures around the city. Our driver was awesome! She was waiting for us before our scheduled time and got us back in time for cocktail hour to start. I wish we could have had more time to just drive around the city.
We loved our photographer, whom we chose by looking at different portfolios. Her style was exactly what we wanted, and after getting our proofs back, we were so happy with the work she did! We still have to put our album together, but I think there will be a lot of difficult decisions as to which photos to include.
