Basically we got what we paid for in this case. Red Brick was the cheapest videography out there so we went with it. Unfortunately the main videographer was deployed before our wedding so the back up videographer was used. (The main videographer's wife was the assistant). The videography was mediocre. Heads were cut off and the motion was jerky. The toasts weren't included in the video because the mikes didn't get turned on. Also, the assistant is in the photography business and she overstepped her boundary and conflicted with our photographer. The editing which was done by the main videographer was good, and he gave us a bunch of copies because it took him longer to edit than expected. However the DVDs that we got appear to be cheap because toward the end of the video they start skipping and we've had to let everything cool down and restart it.
I really liked the DJ, although my husband didn't care for him. The DJ was available to communicate before the wedding to discuss songs and timing. He is very knowledgable on weddings. He did the music for our ceremony too, and that turned out great. He is very flexible with his songs, and he played a great mix for the reception. He also emceed the event as well.
Pat Deal is great. We wanted a soccer ball designed cake, and she was the only baker that didn't flinch at the idea. The final product was a little different than we had discussed, but it still turned out great. Also the cake was delicious!
I wanted to talk to the driver about 2 weeks before the wedding, but she wasn't available, and I didn't get to talk to her until the day before. While I heard that there was no BIG issues with the shuttle, the driver was late to the starting point. She also didn't realize that she needed to make multiple trips which was discussed with her, the manager and in the contract. The shuttle provided was nice, although from the outside it looked like a black school bus. No guests were left at the reception which was a good thing.
Molly is awesome! She was great to work with before, during and after the wedding. She had the pictures up in 2 weeks! The only negative I have is that there are a lot of pictures with the groom and his parents, and there's only a couple of the bride with her parents. I think the photographer ran out of time since the groom's pictures were first. But of the pictures I do have, they are really good.
