Shear Image (225.658.7771) is located in Zachary, but they can travel to do hair for weddings. My cousin is a stylist there, and she did my hair for my bridal portraits and the wedding. The ladies there are really nice and very professional - also, their prices are much more reasonable than the big-name salons in BR.
Bridesmaid dresses and wedding gown steaming - Note that this bridal store is now closed. The only reason I am mentioning it is because I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
At the time I picked out bridesmaid dresses, the store was fully stocked and seemed to be doing well. However, by the time my girls got there to try on and pick out their dresses a few weeks later, they had sent all samples back because they were planning on closing soon. I was not happy about this because we had already ordered some of the gowns. They assured me that our dresses would be in before closing (which they were and everything turned out fine) - but I was worried nonetheless. Also, I paid for 2 wedding gown steamings and they closed before doing my second.
You cannot go wrong with this band! They were very professional, played all the songs we wanted to hear and were not too loud (this was important to us). Best of all, they are very reasonably priced compared to other local cover bands. Highly recommend!
Online store located in Miami, Fla. - Michele was so helpful when we were deciding on wording and styles. Her designs are modern, but still very classy. She can also do custom designs. (A little on the pricier end, but this wasn't something we wanted to skimp on).
We are very pleased with our wedding photos. Brody and Katy were very professional, and we got through the formal pics very quickly. Also, they dressed up for our wedding. I've been to weddings where the photographer dresses in a polo and jeans - this is tacky!
The only drawback with this photographer is that you cannot get digital files or "rights" to your photos. This, however, was not very important to us.
We went to the BB&B on Siegan; we found the bridal registry staff to be very friendly and helpful both before and after the wedding. Save up those 20% off coupons, because you can still use them after the deadline!
We used Squires for the free limo deal. The limo, obviously, is not really "free" because the groomsmen pay for it in higher rental tuxedo rental fees (I think ours were about $150 each). We went for the classic black tuxedo and bow tie - but if you are interested in different colors and styles, they have it all.
Highly recommend! I bought my dress, veil and the flower girl's dress here. It is a site where girls buy and sell used wedding dresses and accessories. My designer gown was brand new and never worn - I bought it from a girl who canceled her wedding for a fraction of the price she paid for it.
Check this out before buying a gown, slip or veil - you won't be sorry.
