The Courtyard Villa is very beautiful and the staff is very friendly. There were some disappointments--I asked for a head table and got a sweetheart table & instead of Ryan, the owner, correcting it he sent out one of employees to take the brunt of everything. Also I found him to be dishonest about a few things--I arrived there @ 1pm to look at how my cake turned out and to my surprise it wasn't there when I asked him about that he said he didnt know. I ended up calling the cake people on the spot only to find out that he told them to be there at a different time without clearing it with me and then he said "oh yeah I forgot I told them to come later." My DJ said he never returned any of his calls, as a result there was some confusion & I was going to end up not having a DJ for the entire length of the party. Ryan did correct this as he called a friend who did the DJing who filled in last minute and he was fantastic. I found Ryan to be very enthusiatic and helpful initially but his follow through was a little questionable toward the end. But if you stay on top of things I think you will be fine.
Great service! Our wedding ran late but our driver stayed even though he didn't have to. We appreciated the fact they were very accomodating. Pricing was afforable and the limousine was FABULOUS!! They have a wonderful assortment of limousines to choose from.
This DJ I acquired by default. Somewhere there was a mix up and my original DJ that I hired wasn't able to do my entire reception, so my reception venue called Jon, first choice entertainment, came and finished up things on the spare of the moment(he was called like 4-5hrs before my reception was to begin). He did a fabulous job and kept the party going. He will play whatever music you requests plus will do karoake if requested. Excellent lighting and sound system. He saved my reception from being a disaster!!
The best cake place!! They are small family owned business so they never do more than they can handle, but they do a excellent job with reasonable prices. Also they don't do the fake tiers, it's all cake and the best thing is they bake you a new cake on your 1 year anniversary. They are so nice and they over and beyond to help your wedding cake to be very special. You can bring them in a picture and they will duplicate it.
Kevin is so much fun and very professional. He does an excellent job!! He gets the pictures back in a reasonable time and the pictures look awesome. He is always smiling and will definitely make sure everyone has a good time.
During my ceremony, the candlelighters were having a difficult time with the candleabras staying lit so he helped the candlelighters( which by the way wasn't even his job) but he wanted my wedding to be special and did everything he could to ensure that!!
Oh my where do I begin!! John is absolutely amazing!!! Even if you don't know what you want call him, he is very artistic!! Just bring your colors and he will do the rest. I promise he was born to be a florist. My arrangements and decorations were AMAZING!!! He did such an AWESOME job. Everyone still tells me how pretty my wedding was.
