K, a few lil facts no one knows. As I stated before we have been to the Bahamas LOTS. We have stayed in a lot of hotels there, including the Atlantis. I HIGHLY recommend you stay at the Comfort Suites on Paradise Island. The rooms are NICE, they are tiled and not carpeted - we prefer that. Each room has it's own fridge - very convenient. And the kicker - when you stay at the CS, you get FULL access to all of Atlantis' Amenities. Yep...for a quarter of the cost... Oh, did I mention their staff was FANTASTIC. Really helpful and nice...
US! We have been to the Bahamas several times and know the ins and outs of Paradise Island and New Providence. We know the greatest places to shoot wedding images there because we got married there.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We gave specific instructions - and they blew it big time. We didn't want any lilies in the bouquet and no white flowers - the bouquet was all white and full of lillies. The bootner, we said anything but white - I was wearing a white shirt - they gave me a white rose. They do what ever they want and charge you for it and DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS when they screw up! Oh, did I mention they were late with all the wrong things...
WOW! No matter what else you do in the Bahamas - use Matthew for your officiant. He was amazing! He got us through all the paperwork stuff, did an amazing job at the wedding, is very personable, and you will have a great time. Seriously - he rocks!
Deborah was great, on time, and the cake looked awesome. It even tasted great. My wife and I are both wedding photographers and we have tasted a LOT of bad wedding cakes. LOL She did a great job and was reasonable priced.
INCREDIBLE! Bianca and Steve were great... I can't say enough about this location...it was MAGICAL! I love the BAhamas and getting married out there was awesome, but this venue was the top of the mountain as far as wedding venues...
Kelly was a sweetheart and let us take pics at Dolphin Encounters the next day. We had a wonderful time playing with the sea life and exploring the island.
