Best-tasting wedding cakes we tried, hands-down. You get a free 6" anniversary cake a year after your wedding, also. The only negatives about this place were the choices of colors for frosting (cream, chocolate-brown, or a light light pink) because they don't use any artificial colorings, and the fact that the cake was not what I expected. I gave them a drawing of what I wanted and they totally agreed on it and we added a few other details, such as colored sugar-flowers. The cake ended up having very minimal design/artwork compared to what I wanted, and way less flowers than I expected. They felt they did a wonderful job and were surprised that I didn't like it, and were not really willing to do anything about it.
So, go here if you want AWESOME cake but are not worried about having a very specific design (unless it is one of theirs).
They are a national photography group that has local photographers under its umbrella. They have the best packages (and monthly deals) out of all the individual photographers I had looked through. After signing up for a package (which you can add to at any time) you go through a bunch of pictures and rate them which helps give Bella an idea of your "style", which they then use to assign you a photographer. We did not particularly like who did our engagement photos, but really liked our wedding photographers (booked 2). You get to meet with the lead photographer beforehand (or just email) so they get a better idea of what you are specifically looking for. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A LIST OF PHOTOS YOU WANT, no matter who you book. Somehow we did not end up with a photo of the bride and her mom!
Loved talking to the guy I booked with on the phone. They have a great list that makes it easy to pick songs. They really listen to what you tell them and won't do things/play songs you ask them not to. Loved our original DJ, but due to an accident, had to leave and take his mom to the hospital! He stayed until the back-up came, which was great. Just did not care for the back-up DJ at all, though. She was not "our style". We had been matched extremely well originally, though. Accidents happen.
VERY reasonable prices for overhead swag & lighting (have to call--varies by venue site & amount). They also ordered stanchions for me to have for the ceremony. I was very pleased with their overall service. The stanchions were way smaller than I was led to believe, though, so I that is why I am giving them 4 instead of 5 stars.
The website looks crappy, but their work is not! AWESOME pricing for ALL DAY availability and 3-4 wedding DVDS. Very good editing. We went with 2 cameras and it makes a big difference. Highly recommended.
