Great communication. Beautiful work. WONDERFULLY YUMMY cake. Plus, they are one of two bakers in town who do diabetic wedding cakes (in four flavors, no less...the other vendor, Icing Illusions, only offers one flavor). Price was great, and they were wonderful.
Walmart may not be the most exciting caterer in the world, but their price point is great. The food is good and it is beautifully arranged. Don't be afraid to go with what you can afford! We had no complaints among our guests - of course, I was also trying to cater to the following diets: diabetic, gluten-free, cardiac, vegetarian, and vegan. Walmart trays allowed that within budget and with no one feeling like they had 'special food'
My flowers were wonderful. I've wanted Stacey to do my flowers since I first saw his work, and my budget was designed around that. I was NOT disappointed.
Lucky was absolutely wonderful. I had to do a last minute photographer change 2 months before the wedding -- and they were wonderful to work with. I did not feel as if I was working with second choice -- I felt like I should have picked them in the first place.
Southern Strings is a trio of musicians (Hammered Dulcimer, Flute, Guitar). They were very affordable, and added a wonderful ambiance to our ceremony. We picked music from their repertoire, and they even learned a couple of songs upon our request. We are definitely happy we decided to use them.

Our cake was beautiful, delivered on time, and absolutely wonderful. They had to communicate with us about a change in decoration due to the weather (we had pastiallage leaves planned--but the weather was making them be mushy and refusing to hold their shape). They contacted us about this -- they obviously can't control the weather. Their cake was wonderful.
In addition, they offer diabetic cakes - only two cake vendors in Montgomery offer diabetic wedding cakes (Icing Illusions being the other). Academy Chefs offers four different flavors of diabetic cakes (Icing Illusions offers one), and they have a great price point. I would use them again without hesitation.

I had to book them two months prior to the wedding due to issues with our original photographer. They made it happen and they offered me a great deal. And they did an amazing job.
I know... not the classiest of catering, but it was in our budget, and the food was VERY good. It was presented in a beautiful way. Don't be afraid to look outside the box if you have a tight budget - Walmart delivered good value and good food.
