John was awesome. We had a few problems communicating with him at first (i.e. he was slow to respond to emails, etc.), but he was a great DJ on the night of the wedding. We got many compliments on the music and he played everything we wanted.
Jason Gidas and Carol, the floral/wedding designer are great. Just one short meeting and she saw my entire vision and made it better. They also delivered and set up the flowers and were extremely reasonable--working within our budget. My flowers were gorgeous and we were really happy with them overall.
We had so much fun on our honeymoon! We were treated like royalty at Aventura Spa Palace (part of Palace Resorts). It was the perfect mix of relaxation and activity. You could choose to do several activities or trips OR just lie around the pool and lagoon all day. The resort was beautiful and the employees were all so nice and friendly. It was extremely affordable for an all-inclusive vacation and a great alternative to Sandals and the like.
Paul and Cyndy Meyer are brilliant photographers and brilliant customer service people. Every interaction with them blew me away, from their personalized emails to their Christmas card and wedding gift. Paul also spends time teaching you how to look better in photos, rather than just showing up and snapping. He would climb bridges, lay on the ground and put himself in harm's way just to get a great shot. The resulting pictures are beautiful. He is also very affordable and he doesn't make you buy a large package full of stuff you don't want.
