This was a huge hit with our guests and we have a ton of great photos from it. Cheesy Photo booths was awesome. They arrived early and had everything set up to go, so when the guests were arriving they can use it. The photo booth was great because it had an outside monitor that the people waiting can see what the people in the booth were doing. They also set up a table for guests to make us a scrapbook page. They also assemble it for you and send you a cd of all the photos a couple of weeks after your wedding. On the disk they give you two options for your pictures, one with the banner and the 4 photos on a sheet and one with individual pictures. I was surprised that they had sent us the two formats, but really liked that they did. They were also really friendly and easy to communicate with. The poor attendant stayed late waiting patiently while every straggler used the photo booth a couple more times before leaving.
Let me tell you that coming up with Flour Power was quite an ordeal. We had also tasted cakes from French Gourmet, Twiggs, Cupcake Squared, and Sumi’s Oven. Bar none- Flour Power was the best one. Also, something to note, do not do multiple tasting in one day. Not a good idea. Spread it out. On the day of Flour power made for us Chocolate cupcakes with choices of mint mousse or chocolate mousse filling and a Lemon with Lemon jelly filling. They were delicious and all of our guests loved them. They even put fortune cookies that we had dropped off early in the week onto the cupcakes free of charge, which was a bad idea. They looked great, but it turns out fortune cookies suck up moisture from the frosting and get soggy. Totally not Flour Powers fault, but it was something we learned.
Vynce did an amazing job at our wedding. We had our guests send in songs on the RSVP card that they would like to hear at the wedding and he played a good chunk of them. He couldn’t play them all because it would add up to days of songs, but a lot of the guests were tickled to hear the song they had requested being played at the wedding. He did a great job MCing and was a lot of fun. He also did an awesome mix for our entrance. Also, when you meet him, ask him to see his prom picture.
My parents insisted that we have our reception at Pearl and because they were paying for half of the reception bill, we went with them. If you were interested in working with Pearl, I would request to meet with Check Ng. My parents had initially worked with another manager, James, and had a bad experience. Pearl was great. They let us bring in our own alcohol (we had a lot because the hubs made 9 different beers for the wedding totaling in 350 bottles) and the food they served was awesome and they were very accommodating to what we needed.
They do full chair set up and provides you with an event coordinator and security officer for that price. It is 100 dollars more for AV set up as well.
They are the best! We love them and they were extremely professional and very easy to work with!
