Probably my favorite 'vendor' - not just an amazing talent, a great person & fun to work with. we asked for some avant garde/artistic/fashion - type photos, and the results were beyond anything we could have imagined - everyone that sees them comments 'they should be in a magazine!' we agree!
Not a typical 'wedding band' - fantastic swing/big band...had all our guests dancing all night! fantastic musicians - catch/dance at their ongoing shows in manhattan
Found the perfect, 'slinky', 'old-hollywood' glamorous, non-'princessy' dress that they tailored PERFECTLY. she also carries beautiful jewelry & headpieces, which is where i purchased my perfect 'barely birdcage' veil/decorative headband. cassie & sue were wonderful during the dress-fitting process.
Not only did they create the beautiful wedding cake to fit our black & white color scheme, but they also baked HUNDREDS of black & white cookies w/our initials for our favors - the guests loved them!
We took lessons for about a year (having a great time each week), and then asked our instructors put together a simple (yet impressive-looking) foxtrot/swing dance routine for our 'first dance - guests loved it!

I never felt so pampered or looked so glamorous! elena was fun & talented - for all that makeup, i didn't look overly done-up in person, and yet i looked great in photos! my sister was planning on doing her own hair/makeup, but once she met elena (on the day of the wedding!) she asked her to do her hair & makeup too,at the last minute! - and she looked fabulous!!
