The initial wedding workshop was kind of expensive for a giant group lesson. We took one private lesson and our instructor was able to choreograph a simple, but fun first dance. If you have the extra cash or like dancing this is fun. It can also make a nervous, non-dancer more comforable. However, the instruction is a little expensive for what you get.
Sharon Smith of Tiers of Joy is reasonable priced for the Bay Area. She makes beautiful cakes that are also delicious!
Skilled student musicians at a reasonable. You will save money and still get quality performers. We hired two musicians for the ceremony and for the cocktail hour.
This is a great venue for a smallish wedding. The food was wonderful and the view of the bay is amazing. The events manager was very cooperative and organized.
Men's Wearhouse is convenient because they are everywhere and their prices are reasonable. However, they messed up a couple of the orders. The store did find a way to fix the problem, but not before it created some stress for us.
We got a lot of bang for our buck with Richard. He shoots digitally and I would say that his style is more documentary/candid photos. He rates are really, really reasonable because he is relatively new to the business and he's a nice guy.
Catherine focuses on special events and runs her business from home. She is very creative and will work with almost any budget.
