The DJ sent was wonderful and as we were planning the wedding from afar, being able to easily communicate through email our wishes was wonderful! He was professional and played exactly what we had asked for. We were a young group (avg. age of 30 or so) but he seemed to have anything that any group could possibly want. Price was great as well ($600 for music starting at 5pm with appetizers, music through dinner and dancing until 1pm).
I was very happy with the make-up artist that the inn employs. However, I didn't have time to have a trial and so pretty much had to go with what she had planned. I looked great though. My MoH make-up appointment didn't happen and there was a lot of confusion about the time of her appointment.
Kathy is a friend of the family and makes DELICIOUS cakes so we decided to use her to make our wedding cake for display as well as the dessert. The cake was exactly what we wanted with our monogram and everything and dessert was yummy.
Ian is a friend of the family but has been taking photographs of weddings since I've known him. He was great! I didn't even notice him at the church (he wasn't in the way at all but got all the photos) and the portraits are wonderful and something we'll cherish.
Marilyn did an amazing job! Being away during the planning process all I had were photos to send her and she made sure that any substitutions were approved by me. She also caught that we were short a boutinniere!!
