Lynne (owner) is wonderful to work with!! She really turned a little budget into something beautiful!! Flowers are not something I know much about - I told her vibrant and seasonal...and all the flowers were absolutely gorgeous!
Russ (owner) was great to work with - very accomodating to our wants and very helpful with suggestions. He kept the dance floor moving. He also kept a close ear on the sound levels during dinner and throughout the night - very important especially during dinner! Very personable and spends a lot of time meeting and keeping in touch during the months leading up to the big day!
Marta (owner) is unbelievable! She is priceless - even with last minute day-of changes - she made it happen and worked so hard to keep the events of night flowing smoothly. The food was great - very traditional - everyone enjoyed good 'ol traditional Italian dinner with all you can eat family style. I stronly recommend her, especially for wedding packages for brides working with a budget!
I was not impressed at all. He was a little rude and not very professional...the pictures turned out to look like anyone of our guests could have taken them. I had to ask him to take certain pictures and he'd sigh as if I were bothering him. He was in the middle of every photo taken by my guests...most guests who took pictures have him in the way...not good!
The hair and make-up were done by this salon...they were wonderful! Creative and classy with the hair styles and the make-up person (Noelle) came to our house and was so professional and quick with our slim time frame...the mothers and bridesmaids look beautiful and so natural...and everyone's make-up (and hair)lasted the whole night and looked GREAT!!! The prices are great too - the best I could find on the South Shore for the entire bridal party - including the bride. Strongly recommend this salon for wedding day beauty!!!
The Maid of Honor and Bridesmaid dresses were bought on sale at Ann Taylor and all of them were way too big - the seamstress did wonders with taking-in all the dresses (one dress was almost 4 sizes too big) and her prices are unbeatable...none of the dresses costmore than $25 for alterations!! I highly recommend her in Quincy, MA. Just beware of her sewing room - it's stacked high with material clippings - she works out of her house and this one room is FULL of material all over the place. Her place is a diamond in the rough - she works magic in that mess!!
