We used DJ Derek Romanoff from Bialeks Music and he was outstanding! I had always pictured a live band but that way way out of our price rang. Bialeks had a variety of DJ's to pick from at all price points. They were very responsive and got me in contact with the DJ I wanted right away. Looking back I think a dj worked out better than a band would have been. Originally I was going to pick every song and schedule exactly when to play it. With everything else going on I never got to it and I'm so glad I did. Derek was wonderful!! everything he played was perfect, songs I never would have thought of. I remember during dinner my now husband and I both commented how much we liked what he was playing.
We gave him a few songs I knew I wanted to hear and from there left everything up to him. We were very impressed with his ability to work off the crowd and variety of song sections. He had everyone dancing, from the flower girls to my aunt who's a nun! All our guests were up and dancing and having a great time the whole night. Even I found time to dance with all my friends! My husband was impressed with how well dressed he was and when he requested a song Derek didn't have that he downloaded it right away so we could have it. I never expect guests to comment on something like the music at a wedding a DJ people were telling us all night how great he was, even the next morning people were giving us rave reviews!
Derek was very professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He really went above and beyond what I would ever expect from a DJ.
Fabulous, worth every cent! Everything was wonderful, we worked with Heather. She was quick so helpful, quick to respond to my emails and attentive to everything. One great thing about Catering by Uptown is they do everything, from the table linens to the cake and on the day of our wedding they set everything up exactly as I requested. It was so much easier having one place to go for everything instead of searching for more vendors. We were able to come in for tastings anytime we wanted and could try anything. All our guests were impressed; it seems like everyone commented to us or my mother about how great all the food was. Our coordinator Heather was wonderful, she took care of everything. While guest were arriving and we were in a back room she brought us our own plate of appetizers, at diner she made us a plate with some of everything and brought it to us herself, and the food was all sooo good. I can’t say enough good things about Catering by Uptown, aside from how happy I was with their service all our guests were blown away by how good the food was.
Our reception went perfectly. If there was one complaint it was from my husband and that was he didn’t get to have any of the brie LOL.
Wonderful! Our driver did a test run before he came to my hotel to pick us up and even than he was early! The reception hall called me the night before and told me there had to be a last minute change and everyone had to go through a different entrance. With everything going on I didn’t notify the limo company and planned on just telling the driver that day. As soon as I saw him he told me there was a change and knew exactly where we needed to go! Right before I was about to walk down the aisle my uncle asked if I was going to put the blusher down on my veil. (Everyone was already at the front of the church and I completely forgot about it!) I went to fix it and ended up knocking the veil off my head! Our driver and my uncle quickly helped me get it back on. The driver was very attentive and helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect!
Limos Inc. was reasonably priced, quick to respond and very accommodating and flexible with us. We were planning on going to different monuments after the ceremony to take pictures but weren’t sure what ordered we wanted to do them in and that was fine with them. In the contract they just made a not that indicated we would be taken around the city for pictures as directed by me

When I first met with her I was set on the flowers I wanted then two months before the wedding I changed my mind and decided I wanted something completely different, but didn’t have a clue what. She was patient with me and took the few things I said and turned it into exactly what I wanted! The ceremony was at our church and the reception was a few hours later at another location. Conklyn’s had everything delivered and setup on time at both locations.
