Rhonda was so nice, I spoke with her then emailed her some pictures of what I was looking for. Her cakes were delicious, especially the chocolate, and our wedding cake looked so good! Plus, from what I have read her prices were the lowest around, and she delivered. For both cakes (feeding 70 people) we payed 175 total with the delivery fee. We were originally only going to have 1 cake, but 2 weeks before the wedding, since we were getting married on Craig's grammy's birthday, we decided to have a surprise birthday cake for her. I had Rhonda make it chocolate, since that was her favorite, and decorated it with a squirrel (inside joke), Grammy was so touched, she started crying when we all sang happy birthday to her.
I loved Lorena, she was so helpful, she did my wedding hair and makeup, and she traveled from Tallahassee to work with me. She really listened to what I was interested in and my style for my beach wedding. Her prices were reasonable and she was really prepared to work with me and my bridal party, plus she was so so nice and fun to chat with during my hair trial and on my special day. It was nice that she traveled and worked with us all in the beach house we were staying at. Much better than going to a salon.
Mika traveled from Tallahassee to work with taking pictures for us. He was easy to work with and understood what we were looking for. My husband was not interested in taking the 'artsy' shots or posed pictures, and Mika understood we basically wanted all the candids. He worked his prices to make a special package for what we were looking for, and gave us all the copyrights to our images, which I found a lot of photographers dont. We were really happy with his pictures and his work, he took over 1200 pictures and his turn around time for getting me the cds was about 10 days.
Panache was really helpful with planning our wedding. We had them take care of all our decorations; (minus the table settings), chairs, linens, dishware, ceremony chairs, tables, silverware, etc. It was great to have a company to work with that did basically everything and I didn't have to worry. The only complaint I have is that when we originally met with them and setup our contract we met and had been working with Elizabeth, we worked with her for a while, emailing back and forth the details, and then suddenly I started receiving emails from someone else, this was okay but some of the communication was a little messed up and we had some snafus with our linens, which they ended up taking care of a few days before the wedding, so everything turned out fine for our big day.
We found Mike in Barnacle Bill's Tallahassee. He played classic rock and Jimmy Buffet covers, he had that great "relaxing on the beach in the keyes" feel. After hearing him play a couple times around town, we asked him if he would play our wedding and if he was willing to travel. Mike and his wife played as a duet for our wedding and were extremely affordable, even with their travel fees (which was nothing compared to other bands). We loved them so much, Mike ended up pretty much being the emcee for our wedding (he had much more experience then we did at this kind of thing)! People could put in song requests and he got our families/guests involved, it was a great time and I'm still getting great reviews on how much fun everyone was and how great the music was!
We worked with Rika at Sunset Dream Weddings. They provided an officiant, photographer (which we opted out of since we already had one), beach wedding decorations (we got the now and forever package), bouquets, and an entire personalized ceremony (which included a unity sand ceremony, blessing stones, a native american blessing, and an exchange of shell leis, all of which Sunset Dream Weddings provided). She was easy to talk to through email or phone, and everything turned out great. I loved our wedding decorations and the heart in the sand, plus they travel anywhere between Panama City and St George Island!
