Carrie Scribner of Dutch Bloemen Winkel did an amazing job. Carrie is so professional and a wonderful florist. I gave you two pictures I liked - flowers of one and shape of the other and she combined the two into the most beautiful bouquet. Carrie kept in contact with us, met with us to discuss our flowers, did not pressure us to buy flowers we did not want, and was friendly. Carrie put the flowers on our wedding cake as well. She personally dropped off the flowers and add the flowers to the cake and wished as well on our wedding day. I held onto the bouquet for the next several days because it was so beautiful. Exactly the colors, shape, ribbons, that I wanted.
RiverStones Fine Pastries did a fantastic job with our wedding cake. The wedding cake was amazing. Fresh, moist and made exaclty the way we wanted. The raspberry filling had no seeds in it, the ingredients were fresh and local. The buttercream was rich but not sickenly sweet or heavy - just right! Everyone commented on the cake. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because they do not deliver...so we had to arrange to have it picked up - otherwise perfect cake and the right price. Flowers were added to the cake by another local - Dutch Bloemen Winkel Florist.
Shana Yellow Calf of Yellow Calf Photography did not show up to our wedding! She made no effort to contact us even after we repeatedly tried to e-mail and call her (her voice mail was always full)! She took our money and has never contacted us to make repayment, offer an apology or explanation or to offer to provide a new service to us in lieu of our wedding photography. She also ruined our friends Alyssa and Neil's wedding photos. We reported Yellow Calf Photography to the Better Business Bureau. She did not respond to them as well. Turns out there is another complaint against her in BBB. Do not use this photographer. Shana Yellow Calf took our money and we were left with having to scramble to have wedding photos taken! Shana Yellow Calf also did not take our engagement photos.
