Danielle is AMAZING. Everyone told of how professional she was, she knew exactly what we wanted, the pictures were online within 1 day! They are so beautiful. I've been in many weddings, but THIS photographer has been the best!
Well, the cake was GORGEOUS. Aside from that, the prices were a little steep. But the biggest issue was they definitely gave us the wrong kind of cake. We ordered yellow cake (we specifically wanted a lighter cake for our outdoor reception), and they gave us their "special" cake, which cost a dollar more, and tasted mildly like cornbread. Our guests even asked us if it was! So it was a thick cake for a hot outdoor reception. Aside from the mistake (which we didn't even realize until the next day), the staff was very nice, the cake really was beautiful, and the bakery shop is adorable. Worth a visit to check out their stuff.
I'm sorry I do not have more contact information for Norb. I'm sure you can find him in a phone book - we knew him through family. NORB IS INCREDIBLE. I can NOT even describe the deliciousness of his food. He is incredibly generous and sweet, he gives you EXACTLY what you want and takes it to the next level. UNREAL.
Rask has been in business for years and they are the cream of the crop in Staunton. Perhaps their prices are a little steep, but that's because they are the best. The flowers were by FAR the most beautiful decoration of our ceremony. Unbelievably beautiful.
THIS HOTEL IS THE PLACE TO STAY. The groom's family stayed there, and it is the best. A little over a year old, the rooms are huge, they each have a microwave and fridge, a meeting room if needed to hang out. Walking distance restaurants.
We stayed here the wedding night. The room was perfect, but more expensive than it should have been. Still, if you want a nice experience, it's a gorgeous hotel.
