I didn't like that I couldn't register for everything I wanted at Macy's, through the Macy's website. Additionally, if an item isn't on sale, the price can be a little outrageous. That being said, buying from this registry was really convenient for a lot of my guests, and Macy's is always having Home sales. I think a lot of our items were on sale almost the entire time our registry was up. I also loved how I got 20% off the completion of my registry during one of their sales, and this does not include the 10% off credit I can use one time for an online purchase, and the 10% off credit I can use one time in the store. I also got a lot of bonus items by buying my pots & pans and knives
I can't even give this vendor one star... The experience was HORRIBLE. I had to hold back tears at the end of the night when a 25 min ride turned into a 3-hour ride. The driver was late picking us up from the ceremony, went in the wrong gate on base and therefore we had to deal w/ the MPs and my dad had to vouch for us, got lost on base after the reception for ONE HOUR while managing to run a curb and have to replace 2 tires... Also the entire time the guy was looking at a GPS on his phone and swerving in and out of our lane because he wasn't paying attention. In the end I had to sit up front and spoon-feed him directions back to my parents' house, and then dismiss him because I didn't want to wait another 4 hrs for him to take us to our hotel after we got our luggage.
We had a problem with the size of my husband's tux but they were able to resolve the issue and by the wedding day he had a tux that fit him how it was supposed to. The store manager had a bit of an attitude which wasn't a problem for me because I'm used to working with people like that, but may have been an issue for others.
Our DJ was Michael Cowles and he was great! I was worried that we would have a hard time getting people on the dance floor... But the dance floor was packed ALL night with guests of all ages. People were having so much fun that we added an hour on at the end (half of which the DJ played for free because he was having so much fun)
