I had a terrible experience with this guy--gave him my Reem Acra silk satin dress to press and when he delivered it before the wedding it was even more wrinkled than before. He charged me $100 and made my dress look worse--my aunt had to come over before the wedding to try to press it out with the hotel iron.
Honour is fabulous--she takes amazing photos and is a pleasure to work with. My only complaint is that we have very few photos of the guests from the wedding, but I suppose I should have been clearer about wanting pics of the guests (and not just the wedding party) up front. I highly recommend her.
Sadly, a little hit-or-miss. The guys who run it are fabulous, but the great food and service they offer gets lost when an event is delegated to other staff. Had a cocktail party with them, which was great, and a brunch, which was terrible (ran out of coffee, had cold and not tasty french toast accompanied by a very inelegant plastic jug of grocery store syrup).
A total hit. These guys are awesome--buy their CDs or see them live.
Just ok. SBE was really disorganized throughout the process (e.g., couldn't keep track of things, and even used an outdated seating chart for our actual wedding dinner, which was embarassing) and thus caused a lot of unnecessary stress. When she was focused, she made things happen and some of our decor she handled looked great, but I can't say I recommend her.
She is AWESOME. Made me look gorgeous and was enjoyable to be around as well. I can't recommend her enough for both hair and make up.
We used this honeymoon registry website because it looked the least tacky and got good online reviews. They were AWFUL--the website didn't work most of the time (SO many guests told us they had problems) and they never respond to questions/complaints. We had a terrible experience with them and I heartily recommend finding a different honeymoon registry if you are planning to go that route.
