David's Bridal works with Men's Wearhouse for the groom and groomsmen's tuxedos. I loved that because they have the exact same colors as David’s does. To accent the Clover color, we chose Honeydew color and it was very nice. We met with a Wardrobe Consultant to help us find exactly what we wanted Chad to wear and his groomsmen. They have very nice and high-quality rental tuxedos. Because we had 6 or more groomsmen renting, Chad got his tux rental for free. The only issue we had was Chad’s jacket was way too big for him. The tailor didn’t do a good fit for him. This was a huge disappointment for us on our wedding day especially for Chad. Also 2 of our groomsmen’s jackets didn’t fit either but they were able to exchange and luckily they fit each other’s jackets! The rest of the tuxes fit great. Everyone sure did look very handsome and the colors looked beautiful together!! .
This was the most important part of my wedding for me is my photographer since I am one as well. Woody was exceptional! He is one of the best photographers I've ever seen! He worked so well with us and our bridal party especially the kids. He really made us feel at ease so he could capture our natural expressions and some very special moments. He is very creative and artistic with his photography. What meant a lot to me was that I always wanted to get photos of us on a dock with the lake in the background somewhere-- He took time to do this for me even when was suppose to be done taking photos. I love my wedding photos. We couldn't have been anymore pleased and thrilled. His prices are great. With his wedding packages, he gives you a DVD with all your wedding photos on them. I couldn't find another photographer that did that without having to pay ALOT of money. As a photographer, that meant so much to me to have all my original wedding photographs. He also color corrects and enhances your photos as well. One of my favorites is a close up of me and my bouquet- I'm in black & white format while my bouquet is in color. It is beautiful! He is a very gifted and wonderful photographer.
My mom and I were eating at the Famous Dave's in Baxter, MN and I saw their catering brochure! We started looking through it and the prices were great! We really needed to stay within our budget and use someone that Whitefish Lodge would work with too. We met Ryan Olson, the manager & catering expert, that night when he came around to our table asking if he could help us with anything. We asked him some questions and we set up an appt to meet with him. We met with him a few days later and we walked out of there shaking our heads in awe of how wonderful and willing Ryan was to help us come up with the perfect meal for our reception. He was excellent!! He went out of his way to do so much extra for us. We knew for sure that we would definitely go with him and Famous Dave’s. Ryan did so much for us, was very friendly and easy to work with. He's very creative as well and we were able to stay within our budget! The food was excellent and so was the service!! Heard nothing but good from our guests! :) It was very fun as well. It fit Chad & I's personality too- BBQ and we LOVE to eat at Famous Dave’s! :)
This was the hardest part for us to figure out which DJ to go with. We've heard and been to some weddings where the DJ just about ruined the reception... I was very nervous about picking out the right DJ. We couldn't believe how lucky we got with having Special K, Kris Lambke, being our DJ. I talked to a few different companies and I felt the most comfortable with Complete Music. Their prices were great. Just a few hours later, Kris gave me a call and wanted to know if I had any questions and to contact him anytime. I was so impressed with that and the most important thing was they were not pushy about me booking with them. SO I booked with them right away! :) I really didn't even know where to start with music... I've never had to work with a DJ before. Special K walked me through everything one night and we got it all planned out. He had me fill out a form and he really fit the music perfectly to our taste!! He was excellent!! :) He made our reception very fun and so special! We’ll never forget it! Our guests loved him too because he interacted with them all. He was friendly, cheerful, a lot of fun and loved how he dressed! During our meal, he had the music level perfect so our guests could talk to each other at their tables. He had some great ice breakers to get everyone dancing and even taught us a few new dances. You can tell he loves to do what he does best! We had a great time at our reception and our guests felt very comfortable and enjoy it too. If you are looking for a good DJ- for sure ask for Special K! :)
Our flowers were exceptional, breathtaking and beautiful! I knew these ladies personally so it was very fun to work with them. Emily & Melissa met with us at Caribou and they were very prepared with books of flowers and photographs to help us choose the exact flowers. I was so impressed with all their photographs of wedding and events they have done. They are so creative and very gifted. They met with us again to finalize everything and the prices were great. The morning of the wedding, they came to our church and set up the flowers in the sanctuary and then went to the reception and completely set up all our flowers and even the candles on the tables. They made the flowers too for my cake. It was all so beautiful!! The flowers fit our colors, our personalities and just gorgeous. I couldn’t believe how perfect my bouquet was too. It just made my wedding day even more special!
Wow! I had a certain style in mind how I wanted my hair to look. Sam, the manager, did that and even more. It was gorgeous! I’ve been a client of hers for 8 yrs now and knew I wanted her to do my hair for my wedding someday. I was able to get my bridal party all appts at the same time as me. It was very fun to be able to do this all together. Each of the stylists did wonderful jobs on my bridesmaid’s hair and worked with what they wanted as well. They are so professional, very friendly and talented! The prices were great.
They did an exceptional job printing our wedding invitations, napkins, ceremony programs and our thank you cards. It’s a family owned business since the 1900’s. They have a wide range of printing opportunities in Commerical Printing, Church Division and Digital Printing. I was able to work with one of their graphic artists to create our wedding invitations to exactly what I wanted and our thank you cards. They are very easy and friendly to work with!! The quality printing, the coloring and paper is excellent. They matched up our wedding colors perfectly in our invitation, programs, thank you card and even our napkins. The turn- around time is very fast as well.
