Great dj!!! lots of fun, really got the crowd into it. EVERYONE was dancing.
We booked a jazz trio for our cocktail hour through Soul Revival. Justin, the owner, gave me a great deal. When they actually showed up there were 4 of them - at the same price! they were really wonderful. we had emailed a few italian standards that we wanted played to Justin and asked if they could do a little jazzy take on them. it came out GREAT. we really enjoyed the mood it set.
This is a tentative review as i haven't gotten my proofs back. although a bit pricey, i really fell in love with the sample pictures that they showed us. we had 2 photographers, an assistant and a videographer on our day and they were all quite nice and very professional. the 2nd photographer (who focused mostly on "journalistic" style stuff) and the videographer were surprising unobtrusive throughout the day. i barely noticed they were there most of the time. hopefully that means they're good at their job and it doesn't translate into a lack of shots and/or footage. dana, our main photographer, was wonderful. he really knew how to talk to people and get them to look natural. he was great with the little kids (aged 7, 5, and 3) and, i think, got some really good stuff out of them.
Can't say enough good things about Pedestals and our consultant, Nadia. the flowers all came out beautiful, she was an absolute pleasure to work with, and they are very amenable to virtually any budget. far and away my favorite vendor that i worked with.
