We selected Itala and Mi Boda en Cartagena to plan our wedding after reviewing several wedding planers. Living in the United States, we felt like we really needed to trust the vendor we selected as we would not be present in Cartagena until the week before the wedding! We really liked Itala and her transparency with the process of paying vendors. We always felt like we had good visibility to how the financials were handled, which was important to us being so far away. Plus, Itala's reviews were excellent and a review of the wedding that she had done on facebook and instagram showed us that she could really put together a beautiful ceremony and great party. A week and a half after our wedding, I can honestly say she did an incredible job and we have ZERO regrets. Itala was terrific. The decorations were perfect for both the ceremony and the reception. We actually sent her a picture of a alter from instangram that involved overarching birch trees that we liked and she replicated it exactly! I don't know how. I don't even think they have birch trees in colombia. The flowers, tablesettings, and lights were incredible during the reception. The caterors she selected were phenomenal. And the music was out of this world. I'm 34 and most of my friends are married and many of them came up to me after the wedding and told me it was the best wedding they had ever seen by far. Needless to say, we recommend Itala fully!
