I was so thrilled that I selected Miracle Catering for my Wedding on July 19th 2014. Ron Spaziani is an outstanding chef and I'm pretty sure he prepares all the dishes himself. Judging by the quality of the food served, and the freshness it is apparent that Ron takes great pride in his preparation (he is very mindful of storing everything at the proper temperature and making sure everything stays fresh) and he also presents his food beautifully. Ron created a menu with us that included appetizers, main dishes and desserts that he usually makes himself (e.g., lemon bars and meltaways). What I liked about Ron is that he was willing to tell us what was worth spending our money on and what was not, and it made a lot of sense. He even helped us with ideas for signature drinks if we elected to go that route.
I was sold on Miracle Foods at the food tasting. It was amazing how delicious the food was and cooked to perfection! The filet mignon melted in your mouth! What impressed me most was that he can prepare any type of cuisine and even better than some natives will prepare it! All the appetizers were phenomenal, such as the coconut shrimp, crab cakes, pizziola, mini sliders, honey rum skewered chicken, etc. Something for everyone! At the tasting he even made a Chinese lo mein appetizer in a take out container that was visually appealing and very delicious! His tasting display was very generous and very varied, so people can choose from a variety of cuisines. He even provided menus from other weddings so the taster could see some samples of what other Brides and Grooms selected. I believe Ron can not only make any kind of cuisine but he can make it (and will make it) exactly to your specifications (e.g. if you want less spice or a certain kind of spice). He really works with you.
At my wedding, the guests raved about the Brisket of Beef (which they told me is rarely served at weddings which is a shame because it is outstanding). They also loved the stuffed flounder as well. We had a buffet so that our guests were able to find something that suited their palate. What I also love and respect about Ron is that he often will have his son and daughter assisting him. They are very sweet and very attentive, much like their father and very professional. I think it is nice that he includes them and it makes you feel like part of the family.
Ron is just this really down to earth guy who can cook like there is no tomorrow! He also provides his own china and glassware, so you are not paying a premium for a middleman rental company. He also kept the costs within our budget yet we did not feel we had to compromise on anything. The bartender he brought with him was very sweet and courteous as was his whole staff. They seemed very attentive and receptive to suggestions and requests, which is so important especially when it is an occasion as special as a wedding. They arrived on time and made sure the lemonade and ice tea dispensers were filled and ready for my guests immediately following the ceremony. He also made sure we had water available for the guests nearby so that they could be comfortable during and after the ceremony, which was outdoors on July 19th, 2014. Ron even went out of his way to prepare a special Arugula salad I had requested. I received absolutely no complaints from my guests and only remarks about how good the food was and the service and I know they were genuinely pleased. I consider the food one of the most important factors (if not the most important factor) when entertaining and Miracle Foods is spot on in that department! I knew I did not have to worry about food poisoning since Ron has special food preparation and storing certifications and extensive experience as a caterer. I would recommend Miracle Foods without reservation!
It took a while for me to write this review, but I intend to make up for it in a well-deserved compliment. The gorgeous custom designed golden leaves and flowers crown that I purchased from http://mignonnehandmade.com perfectly accented my gold beaded wedding dress. This crown was so stunning and so striking with my wedding dress, that when I walked down the aisle people were in awe. I heard the feedback afterwards and people just said, “That crown! You look like a …like a…Greek Goddess!” When I heard this time and time again, I smiled, because that is exactly what I had in mind for my beautiful, ethereal wedding dress. I had on the most beautiful dress, yet the crown was so gorgeous I ended up getting more compliments on the crown than my wedding dress! It was so unique! Everyone marveled at my appearance and I felt like a princess wearing it on my wedding day!
My fiancé (now my husband) was beaming when I told him what people said about the crown since he was the one who searched high and low to find it! When he OK’d the purchase, I was ecstatic! This crown is priceless! When our photos and video came back I was so thrilled to see how lovely I looked in my dress, veil and crown. Everything was so perfect, just as I had hoped it would be. Everything came together perfectly. My hair stylist had set my hair perfectly around the crown.
Jennifer at mignonnehandmade.com was very accommodating. Before I ordered it I asked her about her exchange policy since, as beautiful as it appeared, I was still uncertain how it would look when I actually put it on and how it would look with my gown and veil. Jennifer assured me that if I was not satisfied, I could return it. Well, this crown far exceeded my expectations! It was almost as if it was made for my dress! I will be sending Jennifer a picture of me in the dress with her gorgeous crown so she can see just how magnificent it looked! Jennifer is an extremely talented artisan! I’m so glad we found her!
If your flowers are beautiful, you feel beautiful and you look beautiful! Thanks to the talents of Ron at Wildflowers in Englewood Cliffs, NJ I looked and felt beautiful while holding my stunning bouquet! The manager at my venue was the one who referred me to Ron since she felt they did beautiful work. I couldn’t be happier with my bouquet. I knew Wildflowers was the one for me based on my first call, when I spoke to Robert. Robert explained that you get different feelings from different floral arrangements and sometimes you like the feel of one bouquet, the shape of another and the colors of another. Your bouquet will be not necessarily be an exact duplicate of any one of them but a combination of what you liked in all of them, and that was resonated with me. It turned out that my bouquet had all of those elements. Ron remembers every detail you discuss with him. He really listens to you. I felt there was a very personal connection with Ron and that he really understood my needs. I trusted that he would deliver a beautiful bouquet as well as the other personal flowers on my wedding day, and that is exactly what he did.
Ron is a very creative floral artist. When I first met with Ron, after he received my pictures, he walked over to me with a bunch of flowers he put together in his arms, and they were so lovely they took my breath away. I asked myself, “Could it be this easy?” In my experience with him, it really was. It is evident that he can create any floral arrangement to match your specifications, I wanted something different, uniquely beautiful and that would compliment my dress, and that is exactly what he gave me. I received all of my floral pieces from him as timely as promised. The moment I put my bouquet in my arms, my eyes were drawn to it and I was happy. They say pictures do not lie and my pictures of the bouquet and me holding it were perfect. I did not want to put my bouquet down and held it most of the time. The name “Wildflowers” really is a perfect name to express the wild unabashed creativity they bring to their arrangements!
