As soon as we walked in Men's wearhouse and showed the sales associate our color swatch from the bridesmaid's dresses she instantly knew the color and showed us the matching tuxes. I was nervous about coming up with a look but she showed me all the options and made it easy! My husband even got excited about it. When it came to returning the tuxes they were very flexible. It was a great and easy experience.
I was referred to Susan from a local florist who was booked my wedding weekend. She does floral work on the side and my bouquets were beautiful. She listened to my wants and colors and everything turned out how I'd wanted. The reason I'm giving her a 4 instead of 5 is her pricing sheet was a little confusing making the price more than what I had thought. Also, she was an hour late on my wedding day, thus delaying the photos.
We purchased a small cake from a local bakery for the wedding party and cupcakes for our guests. At $14.95 for 30 cupcakes you can't go wrong and they were DELICIOUS! People were asking me for days after the wedding where I had gotten them. I'm very proud of myself for coming up with the Sams Club Idea.
Eileen from How Sweet It Is Cakes is a complete sweet heart. She was the only cake vendor in the area willing to meet with us after her business hours. She took the time to explain pricing and all her different flavor options. The cake was delicious and beautiful. She was also nice enough to let us use her cupcake stand even though we didn't get our cupcakes through her.
I had found Katie on Craigslist looking for some less expensive photographers than what Duluth had to offer. I looked at her Facebook page and loved what I saw. I messaged her and was blown away with how organized and experienced she was. She even made a schedule for me which I was stressed about doing myself. She said she was not familiar with the Duluth area but she had captured it beautifully. She has a true photographer's eye and gave me and my wedding party some much needed direction when it came to photos. My husband and I were very impressed with Katie.
I did not want to spend a bunch of money on invitations people were just going to throw away or lose. 123 print offered beautiful selections and I was able to find some that matched my venue perfectly!
Evan Lembke was given very short notice but beautifully captured our ceremony and reception. His use of multiple cameras helped capture every angle. He made a wonderful wedding montage to our first dance song that can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5LxUx913bw&feature=youtu.be
Amanda was a complete sweetie to work with! We had done a trial a few weeks before and her level of excitement was so fun. The day of the wedding I last minute completely changed my mind on what I wanted and Amanda was just like "Awesome, let's just go with it!" and it turned out beautifully. I was told I could bring food and drinks so we brought breakfast and mimosas the morning of. The Language of Hair was such a fun environment and all of the girls working were chipper and wonderful.
Target's registry was a pain. We'd scan things and when we'd get home to check it online about 30% of things would be missing or the quantities would be off. Guests told us they would purchase us gifts but the registry didn't update resulting in lots of multiples in gifts. It was nice we could use the registry in lieu of gift receipts
I am from the St. Cloud area and wanted a dress from a local business. I am so happy with the service I received from Katie at Carrie Johnson Bridal. She sees brides all day but still was excited for my wedding and made me feel special. She was very knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted in a dress. I've never seen a dress like mine before and I absolutely love it. It came in a timely manner and was perfect.
